I think what many miss about Europe,Canada and the others is that at this point the US goes from one set of policies to another set as quickly as we go from Republican to Democrat presidents. One POTUS reverses agreements made by one POTUS then the election comes and the new POTUS reverses everything the one before them did. On again, off again,on again off again why bother with the US at all regardless of which party win's when it comes to defense and economy it's the same as hiring an employee who calls in sick every other day of the week. It won't matter who wins next time it's at its end it seems.
I don't think so. As the leading consumer nation in the world, the world like it or not has to negotiate with us.

Also, if the economy is doing great by the end of the 4 years, it would be stupid for the next administration to choose those policies to attack. If they were wise, they would only attack those that their voters have issues with and not their wallets. But Democrats as of lately have been self-sabotaging so who knows?

In one word you seem to have touched in part on the issue we have.

In the George Soros school of thought in US and elsewhere, there's this confusion that USA is going to die if it doesn't have allies while USA pays money and military to protect half of allies while said-allies go and do business with US rivals and foes for which the said-allies want protection from.

Make it make sense.
Can't. It's liberal logic. Nothing makes sense.

Like the way we buy oil from the country that killed 3,000 americans? But I think I already mentioned that earlier

You never commented on trade we have with countries who have killed far more Americans. Care to now?
