I don't care so much about them watching (I can't possibly be that interesting),
what worries be is the info is stored and others might get access to info they should not know of.
(For instance, one can now LEGALLY check what anyone in Norway earns by checking the tax lists... imagine what one can find out illegally)

Not surprising at all. However, if the surveillence of possible terrorists is not allowed by the supreme court either, then we are in real danger.
I was wondering WHY the fed govt would tell all the dirt on Petreus & Allen. Just because the news media reported it 24/7 doesn't mean the public cares about their affairs. The feds released this info to the media & they acted like they had a scoop. Then the feds also made Petreus' mistress, who 1st supposedly complained about harrassing emails, also look like an idiot. There was never a security breach, the feds admitted.
The reasaon given was that the feds can court martial any military person who commits adultery. True enough, but do they ever? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know of a young man who came home with PTSD. The VA (feds) gave him disability for ptsd. Military doctors wrote in his medical records that not only did he have ptsd due to Afghanistan war, but also because his military superior had an affair with his wife!!! The officer was promoted, even after HIS superiors knew he committed adultery with the wife of another man he supervised !!!!!
So I know that what the man said in the video is a FACT: there is another reason that the Obama administration wanted rid of Petreus & Allen. It had nothing to do with their having an affair. (that was the technicality they searched for, to hang on them).
Could it be that Obama wants no Christians to have fed. power or authority? Are Petreus & Allen Christians? Were these women allowed or even selected to go to Afghanistan to offer sexual favors, love, to a lonely man in a dessert surrounded by other sweaty men?

i rather am fearful of the younger generation,not in spite the modern world is all they have ever seen. were older people who were adults in the 60's or 70's for instance remember a whole other world. now as for some of the original old men who warned us of the government's and religious organizing conspiracies against us i suppose their remarks are directed toward whom we quote.namely matt.24;9-31,,,,,mark 13;9,, or any of the prophecies of a man of sin ruling the earth.,,,i suppose the younger ones might even try to spank the one who started theses rumors,that is bearing in mind the things they are not afraid to say.

funny loveme1 !! It's not a conspiracy that the feds keep all this email data, it's a fact. Do the younger ones really think it's phoney baloney? That's how they have caught some terrorists BEFORE they materialized their plans.
CNN reported this evening that Fox founder & news chief sent liason to ask Petreus to run for president, this was before the election. The republicans did not select him, so I don't think it was motivation for the feds doing anything to Petreus. A military friend said that adultery is an offense that gets high ranking officials court martialed. But they didn't know of any.
Regardless, Big brother is indeed watching us. I heard a few yrs ago that you couldn't use the b_ mb word because you would then be on thier target list. But it was a popular word with teens & the feds got overrun with that word, investigating.

It isnt that the younger generation doesnt care, its that we understand how the internet works. If you ever believed anything you put online whether through email or on social networking sites would stay 100% private you were deluding yourself. Personally I dont have anything to hide. The government can watch everything i do online im not worried one bit.
i guess i said "younger generation",,i dont mean it bad the post was started by "age 20",,so at 20 it's good to be watchful(hats off),,but look at my age(born in the cowboy days),,i grew up in a house before most people had a.c.,,,we had a tube black and white t.v.,tube a.m.radio. both of my grand parents houses were built before electricity was in all the small towns and years later when elect. was ran to them since their was no wires ran inside the walls they ran the old style wire along the ceiling and down to the side of the door and to a "laviathin"light switch. most people only had elect. in the kitchen and living room and in the others we still used lamps or candles.i worked for a quarter pulling the grass from around the trees and fences before they invented the weed eater.so the world "to me" went from ice in the bottom of the ice box to this. Popsicle's was the wildest thing to me,you no one could freeze things so when the stores put freezers in and started keeping stuff like that we be-line to it,it blew our minds as you all say.so please take no offense if i say "younger generation" i went from this to "color t.v.",,to 8 track,watched Kennedy get shot live on tv,then i was 30 years old when we had our first phone at home,,,in 1991 i still had a reg. phone and dial-up,,then came texting and mp3's and cd's and mifi,and flat screens,,and h.d.,,,,,i tell you the truth "i was born in another world",,im scared to death there going to make me get a pin number in my fore-head thats the number of my name and i have to enter it with my right hand in those boxes at the store. but they sent me letters and said if i dont get one i cant get my s.s.check any more(im holding out),,you younger people dont offend me but lets say your 30,,the world you see in front of you is the same as when you were 12 so to you "it normal",,,well to me though "the booger man" wouldn't be changing so much stuff so fast if he want about to make his move. put your self in his shoes if you were the man of sin, would you give the whole earth laptops,cell phones,texting,ect. so they could communicate world wide if you wern't ready to make your move? that would be dumb to risk the big plan getting let out of the bag. he aint scared to turn us all loose with it,he's ready to make his move so it dont count anymore. He wants us to talk about it,were turning ourselves in. i think he's ready to make his move,where there's smoke there's fire. he wants us to communicate,,he wants to know who sees and who dont. all the heads of the beast so far have brought the known world to their knees,each in their day. This head when it comes to full power will also.

Interesting isnt it, that revelations speaks to everything hidden being revieled, and how everything willbe known.
When I first read that scripture, I thought it was all bout what God would reviel, now one has to consider it as more of a warning of the time that has come.
Saddly those who do not see the danger of this, cannot see how such, can make you a slave to the world.
