It’s like people don’t ever learn from history.
‘In fact, people never do.

Who can sell me one intercontinental missile? I want to send one to this laboratory,I just want to do an experiment no more.

So, because I live in Boston and I know a lot of people in hospital settings I asked:

Why would we do this?

To learn more about deadlier versions of covid - they -said - and to find cures for those version.

Okay - I said - and what are the security protocols around these places? This should be treated with the importance of a nuclear war. What foolproof mechanisms are in place to prevent a leak?

Then they gave me some BS answers which I did not belive.

So, I dunno. God help us.
I can’t wait for God to come back and resolve ALL existence.

They can't help but muck around with Covid, can they? 80% kill rate with this new strain they've created. But I'm sure it's totally contained and will never escape the lab, right? 🙄

What would possess people to do such a thing?
Maybe that's a rhetorical question.

Unbelievable. Yeah, that's just what we need. A deadlier Covid version.

Anyone else heard Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine contract with government is coming to an end? Which means they can charge higher prices for the shot and boosters.

The CDC has also voted to recommend adding the C-19 shot as one of the required vaccines for kids to go to school. They say it's not mandatory and up to each state but....:cautious:

If folks have to pay for the shots/boosters, I wonder if they'll be less inclined to take them? I've heard this year that not as many people are getting the flu shot. Many figure they'll "just wear a mask". (As an aside, I don't do the flu shot either. Never have.)

It is truly awesome to think that American scientists were able to make a virus that is 80x deadlier than one made by China! In your face China!

In other news Boston exterminators report that mice are dying everywhere, they plan on investigating but all their employees are home sick with the flu.

The age old saying.. Don’t play with fire..

Seriously, mankind is corrupt and destined to self destruct. These types of events are a good reminder indeed. The new jab contains wuhan strain and a omicron variant .. what could go wrong!!

GOD come quickly.

This isn't the first time this has happened.
Remember approximately 20 years ago there was a strain of flu going around that killed 50% of its victims.
Fortunately since it had a low contagion rate, it only killed a few people.
Some swedish scientists came up with a version that was more contagious.
Even if this research is well intentioned, it shouldn't exist for obvious reasons

How do people not understand the benefit of this research?

First of all the best place to be if you want to design bioweapons for sociopaths is working in a military bioweapons lab and the way to impress these people is by designing something like this virus. This is great for their career, it reminds me of that spunky guy working at the university, young frankenstein.

Second, mice spread diseases to humans. Down in the sewers and subway systems of many major cities you have large population of mice that can easily spread diseases to humans. So then isn't it great that we have a disease like this that can wipe out these dangerous mice populations. You simply send infected mice down into these sewers and soon all the mice are dropping dead. As long as this disease doesn't jump from the mice to the humans it is better than poison or traps. Oh, wait, I think I may have figured out why some people have an issue with this.

Here is a really intriguing conversation between Sam Harris and virologist Rob Reid. They discussed the potential dangers of bioengineering.
With exponential growth in this technology, within the next few decades high school students could be playing around with viruses in their living rooms.
So this is something we need to get a handle on immediately

Interesting fact about your graph. The spikes correspond to the period following a travel holiday. Exactly what one would expect.
Travelling? To where exactly?
