All laws ,all nations should be under the law of God, The ten commandments.
To support the secular ungodly state is the wrong idea.

2 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Do you agree with that article?
Yes. The conflation of the Cross and the elephant/flag is leading many to turn from the truths of God. The cross stands on it's own, and confers citizenship in heaven, not earth.

We 100% should not be trying to use the government to coerce people into faith (because it doesn't work, and it's unbiblical): but at the same time, we still need to call evil "evil", and good "good". Good and evil are objective and the purpose of the government is "to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil". If our government is retarded, and punishes the good and permits evil then it will probably join all the other nations that God has had trampled on by foreign armies.

I agree with most of the statement, but calling it "christian-nationalism" is dumb. What most of their points actually address is theocracy.
ANY THEOCRACY is undesirable, not just Christian-theocracy. These people that are endorsing & signing this statement are narrow; and they are probably being played for suckers by somebody who probably isn't even a Christian.

I disagree with their post-statement paragraph, though. The constitution doesn't declare "faiths" to be equal.

Oh, look I was right: one of our Anti christian-nationalist "leaders" Tony Campolo is a methodist and supports gay marriage. Big shocker there.

Let's see about the others shall we?
OH LOOK, A SERMON ON WHITE PRIVILIGE!! DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!!!

Aaaaand this winner: LGBT supporter who "embraces" his muslim "brothers"....

Yeah... it wasn't very hard to see where this was coming from.

The second paragraph from the OP article says:

Christian nationalism seeks to merge Christian and American identities, distorting both the Christian faith and America’s constitutional democracy. Christian nationalism demands Christianity be privileged by the State and implies that to be a good American, one must be Christian. It often overlaps with and provides cover for white supremacy and racial subjugation. We reject this damaging political ideology and invite our Christian brothers and sisters to join us in opposing this threat to our faith and to our nation.
.
Question, is there is a major political group (or groups) of people (with some sort of public manifesto) who officially refer to themselves as "Christian Nationalists", and who also act in the manner described in the except above  If so, please link us to their public statements (so that we can know who they are, as well the scope of what they believe/teach).

If there is not such a group in this country, and this is simply a general statement about a (non-specific) group of American Christians who are (politically) proud of/support their country, first and foremost, then I do not believe that anything that is said in the excerpt above is true (as Christians who identify as such can, at the same time, also identify, politically, as proud Americans who support their country, WITHOUT in anyway being racist or white supremist in thought or deed).

Man's words are always suspect and technology certainly allows the spinmeisters unlimited degrees of freedom. Of course we look forward to the time of the "true theocracy'. Personally I never have had strong political views and the proposal seems appealing and the comments are to be considered. The devil is in the details!? Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Yeah... this is just a sorry leftist attempt to associate normal christians and normal patriotism with ethno-supremacists.

This isn't to say that America doesn't have dumb, violent ethno-supremacy groups: we obviously do... but they arent nearly the threat they are made out to by lefties and the news. Will they commit crimes? Yeah, probably. Will they take over the country?.... No.

I would never cosign anything that is endorsed by Elisabeth Eaton, or the ELCA. Much less any of the other subversive leftists named.
First off there is no Christian nationalism movement. Its a ghost that gives leftists an excuse to attack our churches. They can use the harassment tactics they use against any dissenters of the left because they now have a moniker to hang around our necks that makes social and public ridicule ok in the public eye.

The Leftists in America are doing their utmost to demonize Christians and conservatives (particularly before the elections). And there is absolutely no limit to their evil attacks. But they are hoping that there are enough ill-informed people who will swallow their lies and vote "Democrat". Liar Biden is the worst offender, but include his whole adminstration.

It is unlikely that even 0.01% of the population is what might be termed "White Supremacists". But that will not stop the liars from calling Christians and conservatives White Supremacists, Nazis, Extremists, and Domestic Terrorists. This is all HATE SPEECH but who will arrest the haters? The FBI is now a Mafia within the United States, and no one can hold them accountable. Unless the Marines and Special Forces wake up and note the hijacking of America by its internal enemies.

Just rushing thru, will be back to answer more, but till then chew on this statement by MTG:

“We need to be the party of nationalism and I’m a Christian, and I say it proudly, we should be Christian nationalists,” Greene said in an interview while attending the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Florida on Saturday. Her self-avowal of Christian nationalism follows her claim last month that Christian nationalism is “nothing to be afraid of,” and that the “movement” will solve school shootings and “sexual immorality” in America.

Don't know about Elizabeth Eaton, but you're right about the ELCA.

But then again even a broken clock is right twice a day.

The problem with Christian nationalism is they think only Christians are supposed to have rights in America and we have this thing called the Constitution that says you can't pass laws that favor anyone religion
