We all want to go to Heaven, but we don't want to die [yet].
Why not?

On Earth we are sinners. In Heaven we are purified. Why do you wish to live and hurt God with your sinful ways?

I never said I want to "live and hurt God". I just said I want to live (not die). If your question is "Why do you want to live?" Because I feel God has a purpose for me and I've yet to achieve/fulfill that purpose. I have no doubt that when my purpose is done, God will call me back, even if I desire to continue to live.

Lastly, I'm a human and not a robot. I bleed when I'm cut, I laugh when something is funny, I flinch when a basketball unexpectedly is throw towards my face, etc... Self-preservation is an innate desire that God instilled by design in my opinion.

Why do you wish to leave the earth when there are souls to save? When God calls me home I'm ready to go, but I also count every day here on earth a blessing. There are so many to reach, and so few workers.

I like doing things the hard way. Ask every cop who has had the audacity to pull me over.

'Self-preservation is an innate desire'

No it isn't. It's a choice.

Something can't both be a desire AND a choice? I desire chocolate, thus I choose to eat chocolate. It's not contradictory.

Did you choose to desire chocolate?

No. Neither do I choose to have sexual attraction to females... I just do. But you are right in that we can choose to act on it or not. Nevertheless, I was just making a point that part of being human is a desire for self-preservation.

If you catch it and die, you will be with God.
True. For people with kids, they'll want to stick around.
For me, id rather bury my parents instead of putting them through the horror of burying me...
After that, I'll be waiting for the invite

They should celebrate that you are with Jesus.

Ye its easy to say now but when a loved one dies its hard
It's rather selfish to deny one the opportunity to be with Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.

Didn't Andrea Yates make the same argument in trial after she drowned her 5x children in the bath tub? I believe she said she was "saving them from hell".

I don't know. If they were not able to comprehend Jesus and as such not able to consciously reject him, she would be correct in that murdering them would guarantee them a place in Heaven.

What did God say regarding precaution?
Matthew
6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.

Having posted that, I must also state that Jesus did want us to obey local authorities whenever possible.

@VickyK

I'm sorry you have to tolerate being called a troll. They have called me an idiot on several occasions. You are correct in your statement about us not needing to fear death, and yes, C19 actually IS in the news right now. I'm glad you addressed it. Thank you. God bless you, sister.
