I'll give you the Bush comment, though I'm sure the recession wasn't all his doing. Obama, on the other hand, was originally against fracking and opposed it. He also wanted to impose restrictions on gun manufacturers that would hurt their business. Thankfully many Republicans and enough Democrats obstructed his own obstructionism, otherwise the economy would be in worse shape. However, when it came time for Obama to fess up, he took credit for fracking. Typical politician.

If Republicans had accepted Obama's reforms for ending overseas tax shelters the economy would have vastly improved and the national debt ended.
