My coworker was telling me how back in March 2020, Costco was packed and no one wearing a mask except this one Asian lady. My coworker, who isn't a racist at all, was thinking, "So you brought the virus over here, and now you are the one wearing a mask?" Many people may observe this scene in an amusing way, but I believe some people may get angry/violent especially those who consider COVID a serious illness because they are reacting out of fear. Needless to say, this type of feeling is wrong because they are taking out their anger on innocent people. However those people who believe COVID is a minor flu bug I don't see why they would feel any animosity over the Chinese on this COVID issue.

It's not a COVID issue. Sorry, people outside of the country don't know this. Most of the attacks are black people who are racist against Asians. The media has tried to hide this. They are trying to pin it on Trump supporters. I've never once thought anything against the Asians. What I am against is the communist gov't of China that did not tell their people about COVID and let them spread it not knowing it was quite contagious.
