President Trump has threatened to send Federal Agents into Chicago to end the gang violence if the City does not act.

YEA!

More than a few times, right here, I have stated that gangs such as these should be classified as Domestic Terrorists, and they should be treated as such, which would put them under the Jurisdiction of the Federal Government, and not State and Local Authorities.

DO IT DONALD, DO IT!

Get that Sheriff (can't remember his name) from Cleveland to head up the Task Force. Give him a 1,000 man Unit of trained SWAT/Tactical Response Officers/Agents, and all the equipment they need, and send them into these crime/drug/gang infested projects, and CLEAN OUT THE SCUM who are terrorizing the citizens living there.

Anyone who thinks these scum are not terrorist need to move to one of those Projects and try living there a few months (if you live that long).

Mr. President............FOR THE LOVE........forget about whose crowd was bigger, forget about this who won the popular vote stuff............AND ACT! Govern!

(I suspect a few here are nearly in cardiac arrest given my urging Trump on............who cares? I don't. If the man is doing what I believe needs to be done, I will support him. Would have done the same were it Clinton in Office, but I doubt she would be acting in such a way)
Three years ago I went to a Chicago White Sox home game and was astonished to see that the parking lot attendants were openly packing heat.

This reminds me of what a member here said last summer. He is a former police officer. There were more then a couple of threads discussing the the police shootings that was all over the news early last summer. He said as much as some of you may not like us (meaning the police force's across the country) just wait until the feds step in and start enforcing the law. He said you'll be begging for the "good old days" of local law enforcement. I agreed with him then, and still do.

After saying all that, it seems like having the feds go into Chicago might be a good idea. The problem with that is the big picture view. It is going to begin a slow cascade of having the feds eventually involved in most if not all big city police work.
But that's how these things usually take shape. In a crisis.

Which Chicago is in. Shame on their mayor and police force for allowing it to come to this.
And most of all, their citizens.
I disagree that the police force allowed their city to become a war zone. Ex president Obama, media, and groups like the black Panthers and black lives matter started the hate against our police officers. The police have had their hands tied. Many police officers are afraid to act because if they go to far in the public's eye then they may be hunted down. The amount of police killed in 2016 has sky rocketed. Police has became a job not many people want to have especially in places like Chicago and Ferguson. Most of the media we heard was fake news where the police was doing the right thing. Yes we may have 1% of bad cops but over all if anybody has problem with police don't call 911 when you need protection or been robbed. So Chicago is one great example of what happens when our country doesn't want police. Thanks to Trump that will end soon.

I was in St. Louis four months ago and was saddened by the very obvious racial divide in that city. The haters must be so proud of themselves for causing unwarranted strife.

It's really bad on the other side of the state in KC, too.

I didn't experience the division in Kansas City, being there four months ago as well, but by no means does that disqualify your statement. It saddens me beyond words that the haters are winning in certain parts of the country. We all bleed red for crying out loud and we'll all bend our knees before the Lord.

I guess, because I was comparing it with where I live, St. Pete, FL, it seemed all that much worse, since we really don't try to perpetuate racial division here.

Federal agents with a battalion of Marines....sweep the crime ridden neighborhoods and cap or arrest every gang member (depending on their reaction).....back ground checks and if any affiliation with any gang comes up....immediately jailed, trial in one week (set up special judges and counsellors) and minimum 10 year prison term.....set up a tent city razor wired jail like the one dude did in Arizona

This is the same plan Hitler used in Warsaw.

I believe that these thugs in the inner cities are part of the larger army obama has built. To send in troops would be playing into their hands. I believe trump will create an environment where prosperity is in within reach for everyone who wants it and they will devour themselves.

Which is why he hired a staff of all corporate insiders...
If they do the job, enhancing our welfare and enriching us, why do you care who they are?
I will go even one step further. If they do the job, making America great again, AND they benefit themselves at the same time, why is that a issue for you?

If they act like animals they should be treated like animals. If a thug going to shoot a mother in the face and her infant baby for telling him she didn't have any money. Give the thug the death penalty and move on with life. This happened in Albany Georgia a few years ago.

The Police have a incredibly tough and often thankless job. No doubt. At the end of the day, the populace and the government are more to blame for this issue then the cops. I do agree with most of what you say. You quoted my post. You see I stated that the citizens are the people most responsible for that mess. You just can't dismiss the police as not having their share of blame too though. I think the biggest part of their issue is the stigma of police brutality. They are perceived by many in American society, as being condescending and going over board with violence in their positions of authority; this is a large reason why the public in Chicago has handcuffed them (pun intended)..
And it is probably more then 1% of cops that need to brush up on their professionalism and manners. Maybe more like a third of them are rude and nasty and arrogant beyond belief.

Dude doesn't understand that he is considered rich in comparison to 90% of the world. If he gives up his wealth and makes his shoes out of maxi pads and rubber bands then I will listen to him and not just consider him as a person massaging his own envy.

Horrendous.acts, to be sure. But if God wants us to have mercy, forgive and allow for second chances, shouldn't we follow that example? I am not suggesting there should not be punishment involved. Yet I think most people deserve a second chance, if only for salvation alone. You are okay with just killing them, salvation lost?.

Although I have to fight the desire for revenge, and fight it in a big way, I know without a doubt that you are right on this.

[h=1]Romans 13:4Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]4 For government is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For government is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.

Murder is against the law and criminals are allowed to talk to a preacher before their death sentence is completed.

Let's give the terrorists a second chance too like Obama letting many go from prison.
