The American Psychological Association, the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the National Association of Social Workers have all come out 100% against "repairative" therapies. It doesn't work and is trying to repair something that isn't a mental disorder or defect.

I believe God is the only one who can UTIMATELY decide who will join Him in His Kingdom or not... I prefer not to assume who might go to Hell in cases such as this.

@LivI94.You are right when you say that God will make the final decision as to who will spend eternity in hell and who will spend eternity in heaven with God.But it isn't called assuming,if you are a Bible believing Christian.The word of God(Bible)makes it clear that sin won't be allowed into heaven,in the midst of God's presence.The word of God(Bible)also makes it clear that homosexuality is a sin and he doesn't just call it a sin.God calls it an Abomination.You can't be a practicing homosexual(living a homosexual life style)and go to heaven.Just like I can't live a life style constantly having sex with men who iam not married to.Because that would mean that iam living a fornication life style.God considers fornicating a sin as well as homosexuality.I use to have sex with guys like it was no big deal.Then I became a Born Again Christian and I stopped commenting fornication.When you become Born Again/Saved you are a new creation in Jesus Christ.Therefore the sinful life that you lived prior to being Born Again,should come to a end.We might slip up in/our walk with Jesus but we shouldn't be intentionally commenting sin.I will admit to this,I can't say that a person who I just shared the Gospel of Jesus with,and informed them that God calls homosexuality a sin/Abomination.That with out a doubt they are going to hell.The reason why I can't say that,is because I don't know if before the homosexual stands before God they have repented of their sins and became Born Again.If that's the case than surely they won't be going to hell.But I can say this,if a homosexual or any other person that stands before God on judgment day,have NOT repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior then they will go to hell.

How could one live and promote principles against God's word and enter the kingdom? The pro-theft people gonna die in their sin make it also? One must repent and not promote these things.

Turbo: I understand and agree for the most part but I still dont care to say whether or not certain people who have commited certains sins or what-not will go to Heaven or Hell. It's just not my place. I know the Word of God stated in The Bible and I'm not saying it's not true. I'm saying that right now, not thousands of years ago but right now, it's those people's personal lives and wherever their souls go is between them and God. The sad reality is that many people just can't help who they are attracted to or lust after (which is a sin but unavoidable for most people.) The only thing I can do it pray for everyone cause we all sin, and a sin is a sin. We do it all the time because we are NOT perfect. So we pray and repent in hopes that God's unconditional love for us washes our sins away <3 And I'm so glad you found Christ. I can't say I've ever been in a conflicting situation with my faith yet but I pray that if it happens I can be as strong as you and return to God! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me!
