I can state facts that a cockroach will die when I stomp on it but is it profitable for me to make a thread about it?
If this was a cockroach lover forum and/or it was news worthy (which I suppose is subjective to some), by all means, post it. If I didn't feel it was profitable, I wouldn't be contributing to it. That seems a bit counter productive... no? No one can force me to post in a thread I find unprofitable.

As for assuming I don't understand why people vote a certain way, I understand people don't require a candidate to be a Christian in order to vote for him. Proof: I support Bernie Sanders, a non-Christian. The difference is that Bernie isn't pretending to be a Christian (or a Jew)... and seeing as this is a Christian forum, I thought it was worth noting his sentiments that "not bringing God into the picture" of forgiveness is to deny the atonement of Christ.

Eh? I already understand what Trump supporters like about him. I understand why people celebrated when OJ was pronounced "not guilty" and why riots broke out after the Rodney King beating. Understanding and agreeing are two vastly different things though.

Interesting line of thought. There is that sensationalized rhetoric again. You are so predictable.

So you feel the thread is profitable although you understand that his faith or no faith has no bearing on his qualifications? You just contradicted yourself to save face. But you really just made yourself sound even more confused than ever! LOL

I see where part of the problem is with you. You must know very little about Gods word. You see, a baby christian would not recognize that Trump doesnt understand what being a christian entails just as any other person outside of Christ' family! We have to assume he doesnt understand that repentance is change of heart and God does that changing not US. I can see past his comments and just pray for God to REALLY SAVE HIM. But you on the other hand ,are judging a man with slanderous threads >who probably isnt saved! God has said we can judge those within the church but the lost are blinded to the truth. Your slanderous thread is counterproductive to what God would have you do.
The fact that you support Sanders is a wow moment for me. You really have taken the bait of the globalist havent you?

Interesting spin.

Copy/paste/quote where I said "his faith or no faith has no bearing on his qualifications".

It's important to understand the difference between "requiring a candidate to be a Christian" and saying one thing (claiming to be a strong Christian) when in actuality he hasn't the slightest clue to the fundamental teachings of Christianity, accepting Christ as our Saviour (we can't save ourselves like he indicates).

Had he said, "Look, I respect Christians and I'll defend them... However, I'm not a Christian and I don't ask God for forgiveness. I just try to make things better myself." then this would be a non-issue for me. I'd look at the other aspects of his resume to determine if he's qualified to be president.

Do you have an issue with someone using Christ as a selling point to gain voters? Honest question.

As for my "slandering Trump", can you point me in the direction of the threads I've created that were slanderous and be specific about what I said that can be accredited to slanderous? If I have said anything that isn't true, I'll gladly own it.

As for the personal assumptions/attacks of me and my understanding of God's words, I'd just ask that you leave that at the door. If you disagree with anything I said scriptural, you're more than welcome to respond and fix my error, but you can't presume to know me. :)

Dunno if its true or not but it was interesting read...

Norman Vincent Peale 1983- Interview with Phil Donahue

"It's not necessary to be born again. You have your way to God; I have mine. I found eternal peace in a Shinto shrine.... I've been to Shinto shrines , and God is everywhere." - Norman Vincent Peale

this is just more evidence for what i have argued before...trump represents not a spiritually neutral choice who just happens to be non christian...but instead his campaign is a vehicle for false christianity...
