I think a good question for Christian Republicans is, are you content letting the states have authority over abortion... OR would you have preferred they federally ban it unless it was to save the mother's life (ectopic pregnancies and things like this)?
The best way is to let states decide. Personally I would rather see a ban, but I'm not the majority.

I could concede that giving the authority to the states is a much better outcome than the status quo at the time, though I am not sure it goes far enough. I believe Republicans (and perhaps the SCJ themselves) fear the reaction of the left if abortion was banned altogether with a few exceptions. For this reason, they wouldn't ever actually hint at a federal ban as they know they would likely lose major elections.
Right they would lose elections because the country wants abortion with exceptions. I don't see why but that's the way it rolls.

When the left makes claims that Trump wants to do federally ban abortion, I don't deny it to make them feel better because I actually wish it was true. Unfortunately, it's not. I am grateful for what we got changed at the very least.
Well they said it could never be changed, but we got that much done. Now leave it up to the states if they want to kill their next generations. Keep it up and the Dems will have no voters.

You may have lost track of what we were discussing.
No, didn't loose track at all

You claimed that Dem voters don't care about future generations. I pointed out ways in which they do. You may disagree with their reasons, but the fact remains that they do care about future generations, perhaps just in ways you don't agree with.
No, I just pointed out that climate change is not about the next generations. It's about the elite forcing the rest of us to pay endless taxes for something that doesn't exist in the first place. Obama would not be living where he is if he believed his own rhetoric.

Yes it is. It's about the environment and climate that we're handing off to our kids and grandkids.

Well, I've actually studied the science behind climate change, been a CC Coordinator, attended climatology conferences, and actually written about it.

If you'd like to discuss the science, I'm perfectly willing to do so.

To you, perhaps. But not the party. They wouldn't live as they do if they believed their own rhetoric.

Well I'd appreciate if you'd give the following video a view. It's not long. Not sure I agree with all he said but he makes good points. I agree that we should be good stewards of what God has given us. AOC said 10yrs ago we wouldn't be here, and yet... So no, I don't think I could be convinced that climate change is the most serious threat of our time. When I start seeing the elite doing what they demand we do to stop climate change, someone might convince me. The former head of Greenpeace realized how radical these people were getting and he left the movement. So, no disrespect, I'm sure you're very intelligent, but I don't see it worth your time to try and change my mind.

Remember, we're talking about people who vote for Dems, not politicians.

Which ones do you agree with?

I agree that we should be good stewards of what God has given us.
Very much so! :)

AOC said 10yrs ago we wouldn't be here, and yet...
AOC is not a climatologist. I get my understanding of science from scientists, not politicians.

That's fine. If you ever want to discuss the science, I'll be more than happy to help. :)

I finally figured it out:
@JayBird is the lawyer for Mr. Scratch.
Basically the evil counterpart of Daniel Webster.

I don't think that every day working Dems care about climate change either. Very low on the ballot of things they care about.

No one came out against what she said. Politicians are the ones that make the policies. And they are nonsense.

Fortunately, there's actual polling data on that.

That has no bearing on the science that clearly shows it's been happening and human activities are the driver.

That is not Donald Trump. That is Barack Obama. So at the very least be objective.
Whatever the case, a capitalist narcissist is a far superior choice to a Marxist narcissist.

No worries, there are different types of narcissists and I doubt he is the malignant type, seems more like the grandiose type ... just me thinking out aloud, having read books written by those who knew him in his youth, his family and how he was raised give much evidence in that direction.

Obama..well he is a Manchurian candidate so I will leave it there!

Hey @JayBird ......what do you think about that grisly termination station bus out front of the DNC?

Democrats seem to be obsessed with abortion and assisted suicide. What are your thoughts?

Sure. Everyone who hated him had negative things to say about him, especially his relatives. But it would appear that you also hate him. That is exactly what Trump Derangement Syndrome does. Speaking evil of a person without any basis.

Today he proved that he is no narcissist but a caring person who is loved by millions. He stepped out of his bulletproof enclosure and went to a woman who had fainted in his rally in Asheboro, NC. He hugged her and watched over her until the EMS arrived. I wonder what you would have done in his place.

Every rally of his has people waiting in line for hours, and there are many thousands at his rallies.

I actually have no feelings about him either way.

I think I have stated several times I trust no politician nor do I have any emotional bond to any of them anywhere, I try to examine the record, who funds them and who their advisors are ... that is what is important.

It seems you are devotee, I hope he lives up to your high expectations when he is in office.

Smart. Definitely smart.

And as you have said, you know very well the of old guard Repubs, and all of that Freemason, Skull and Bones and Moloch business.
Consequently the erecting of the post 911 draconian protocols.

Will Trump cut those cords? Sure hope so. We will see.
