There was an earthquake in East Texas, a 4.8. East Texas never has earthquakes. Matthew 24:7 says there will be earthquakes in divers places. The prophecy is coming true. You can look it up online. The center of it was Timpson, TX.

Actually East Texas has had earthquakes before according to the following report by the USGS.

A series of moderate earthquakes in the Texas - Louisiana border region near Hemphill started on April 23, 1964. Epicenters were determined on April 23, 24, 27, and 28. There were numerous additional shocks reported felt at Pineland, Hemphill, and Milam. The only damage reported was from the magnitude 4.4 earthquake on April 28 - wall paper and plaster cracked at Hemphill (V). The magnitude of the other epicenters changed from 3.4 to 3.7. Shocks were also felt at Pineland on April 30 and May 7. On June 2, three more shocks were reported in the same area. The strongest was measured at magnitude 4.2; intensities did not exceed IV. Another moderate earthquake on August 16 awakened several people at Hemphill and there were some reports of cracked plaster (V). The shock was also felt at Bronson, Geneva, Milam, and Pineland.

East Texas has plenty of quakes. However, Eastern Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma have been experiencing significantly more and larger quakes in the past year than has ever been recorded in the area.

Seems to have made a nice yellow ripple on the map for mid-us:

IRIS Seismic Monitor - Recent Earthquakes

KJV: Matthew Chapter 24
[3]
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
[4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
[9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

One must remember all that is written, before Yahshua the Messiah returns much must come to pass as stated in the Bible.

It is vital to remember how things come to pass, because we will witness the False Messiah first, there will be no mistake when Yahshua the Messiah returns..

seek understanding of the Bible through the Holy Spirit so that you will not be deceived.

Do not rest on mans interpretation of scripture that all is fulfilled or change the time by using fabricated systems to support their claims, if they have written a book beware....

The Bible was written and you do not need to support the Bible with another book, you need to receive understanding through the Holy Spirit.

Peace be with you.

Oh go eat some dirt you idiot..

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. Since September 2010 we have been getting earthquakes one of them large enough to destroy our down town and claim over 100 lives. Most of them being 6-8 of the Richter scale. 4.8 is pathetic. We had a 5.2 today and I sat through the whole thing yawning...
Earthquakes happen everywhere in the world, what makes you think that East Texas is more special and relates to the bible more than New Zealand, Japan, California, Indonesia..

Go put a cup on and harden up

Wow, that was harsh. And as misguided as the original post. He didn't say Tx was more important than anyplace else. He didn't hint at that, suggest it, nothing. All he said was that the bible says earthquakes will happen in places that are not common, and it was his belief that a recent earthquake in Tx was evidence of that. Apparently Tx earthquakes are more common than he realized, but Tx is not a place people think 'earthquake'. Though they may happen its not real common, such as California, where people expect earthquakes.
This isn't a earthquake competition. Its just pointing out how the bible speaks on the increase in earthquakes in the end times. Not exactly sure why pointing out that biblical concept causes you to be so mean and enraged.
