People that say they are Christians are believing all kinds of stupid lies they read on the internet already.
It is a huge problem that I have seen first hand in the last few years. There seems to be some kind of mental illness affecting Christians that they can't recognize a lying Meme or know how to check it against the facts.
Many of my friends that I expected to know better, don't. I am flabbergasted by it. I have tried to understand why and as yet I don't really have an answer.
Sometimes I just think to myself is "self, many people are not as intelligent as you assumed that they were." And "self, don't get a big head and think that you are gifted, because you are not."
I am suspicious that the reason that so many people believe lies is because they want it to be true. That is probably what lies at the root of this phenomenon. But I am not really sure.

I really would like to believe the election was a fraud. I do. But when republican judges, republican sycophants, republican audits, et al all say there's no proof, I gotta believe it wasn't.
Frankly I think the fraud was running Biden in the first place. I still think before his term is over he will back out and put Harris in office, which is what they really wanted. She couldn't win it on her own, so they put in a straw man as a stepping stone to her gaining power.

This should have been the biggest item for discussion among the Twitter subscribers (I do not subscribe to any social media, which should actually be called Socialist Media). Along with the criminality of Joe and Hunter Biden. Musk has commented on how Hunter Biden was protected.
Instead everything was suppressed and censored, and even now there are only a very few conservative news sources which continue to report on the stolen election. However, the "Laptop from Hell" is finally mainstream news it seems.

This is just another excuse to censor free speech. How come this "concern" was not expressed when lies were being published daily for the past six years? The Russian Collusion Hoax was a major lie which was promoted as the truth, and is still believed by many to be true. Where's the Leftist outrage?
It is only when the hatred and hypocrisy of the Left is about to be exposed that suddenly there is all kinds of virtue signaling. A Democratic politician is now calling for "algorithmic justice"! The European Union is actually threatening Musk to prevent free speech from being resumed! Twitter's lawyer actually shed tears when faced with the fact that free speech is coming to Twitter! The Leftist meltdown over this purchase is a sight to behold.

Reports from Twitter's management about their response to Musk buying the company is outrageous. Musk should pull his bid based on that. Twitter's stock price would drop 20% and there would then be 500 lawsuits against Twitter management for breech of fiduciary responsibility. While these lawsuits take hold you would see all the management swept from Twitter. Elon could then come back with a bid at least 20% lower in a few months.
Meanwhile Twitter is exposed for what it is to the whole world, many more sheep wake up, and GETTR and TruthSocial get turbo charged.
It may be that this was the strategy all along to help with the roll out of Truth Social.
Twitter has no competing bid, no strategy to rebuild their brand, and Elon Musk saying he doesn't care about the economics, he just cares about free speech is a dagger to their heart. It says that the company is not worth $54 a share and at the same time it says that they prohibit free speech.
This seems like a much better strategy for Elon Musk, he could play a major role in free speech in this country without all the baggage that Twitter will bring and without bringing a withering attack on his companies and government contracts.

Communist/Leftist countries HATE freedom and free speech. That's one of the reasons they persecute Christians. E.G. China, North Korea etc. They also crack down on social media etc. What are they so afraid of? THE TRUTH. That Jesus is Lord, and that the arguments for Truth will turn out to be just too strong if they allowed freedom of discussion to all their citizens. I'm a firm believer in freedom. The Bible speaks about liberty/freedom, of course a righteous freedom:
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." (2 Cor 3:17).
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." (Gal 5:1).
Slavery is precisely what Communists/Leftists want to reduce as all to. As Tucker Carlson recently said, you know a Tyrant, when he's afraid of what you think and what you say, and tries by every means to prevent you from saying it. Lots of opponents of the Gospel oppose the relative freedom Christians still have on the Internet to spread the Good News. Let's Pray to the Lord that that continues.
Even in political matters, Truth generally has a tendency to win out when fair and free discussions take place among good willed people. People who fear freedom fear the Truth. That's why they fight so hard to take it away from us, and why imo we must fight equally hard to retain it. I view Musk taking over at Twitter to be unequivocally a good thing, and I pray President Trump returns to using Twitter again.
Trump had some 80-90 MN followers on Twitter last I checked. That's a great asset that he can use, to great effect, in future. His followers would probably cross 100 MN soon. Trump was great for the Faith, Freedom, Pro-Life etc. He did what he promised to do.
