Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse after Noah, prepare for a movie who's trailer is so bad, that it will make anyone who studied the book of exodus coil away in disgust.

Meet Moses, son of pharaoh, an Egyptian king who rules over thousands of slave, and his brother Rameses soon to become pharaoh himself. (this is about the only accurate thing in this entire trailer) Watch as their close friendship crumble as Moses finds out he is the 'chosen one' who was foretold to free the slaves by prophecy 'millions' of years old. Shake your heads as Moses proceeds to kill countless Egyptians in an attempt to free his people. Facepalm as a mysterious light falls from the sky and warns Moses of a coming dark age that will destroy Egypt. And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, watch Moses and his people get trapped with Red sea on one side and a mass of Egyptians on the other, then a great miracle happens as Moses turns around and charges His people into a mass war against Egypt.

Man they really aimed for the 'lets offend thousands upon thousands of Christians AGAIN' market didn't they? Oh by the way, IN A WORLD [insert prepositional phrase here]

So it is a true saying; "the book is better than the movie".

Um they turned the story of moses into an action film...if you were expecting a biblical retelling than I think youre moire the fool than the directors. A biblical retelling was never the point. This movie has always been kknown to be an action film with exodus as its inspiration.

Also get your facts straight. The birth story of Moses seems to be the same aka he is pahroahs adopted son. And million of years old prophecy? Please it clearly states that it was foretold in the year of moses' birth.

It actually looks quite fantastic are far more accurate than noah:

Thanks for this warning. I might have been naive enough to actually think for the wrong moment that Hollywood could be true to anything Biblical!

There aren't any movie reviews out yet. I'll wait for those before judgement.

I'm not going to begrudge Hollywood a big budget action take on the story. I just don't want them contradicting the story, or attribing anything less than righteousness to God. I don't expect this movie will be anything I'd be willing to support,

"Moses was a very humble man. More than any one on the face of the Earth."

Humble? Doesn't fit the script I want. Throw it out.

Please don't support movies like these. You'll be feeding your mind garbage (mindless violence) and patronizing the making of further movies like these.

Kinda reminds me of the classic Christian work "In His Steps" that popularized the phrase "What Would Jesus Do?" If we patronize the things that are bad while remaining indifferent to supporting that which is good (Charity, Christian missionary work, and accurate and Christian films that are actually useful for telling the Gospel to a lost and dying world) then how can we truly say we are following in the footsteps of Christ as the title "Christian" implies?

Hollywood is about the mighty $$$, ratings and mass appeal at any costs. In order to do this it has to be 'political correct' in order to attract atheists, agnostics & etc. Therefore, the Bible is degraded & diluted to bring on the "political correctness" appeal.

Christians would serve God well by boycotting Hollywood' blasphemous attack on God & the Bible.

Not sure what sort of action movie could be made from hiding out in a cave and writing the koran unless it was like Descent 2: The War for Allah or something jk.

But I wonder if people got this worked up over the ten commandments...probably not. But then christians today seem to be far more sensitive.

They just keep shrieking "Religion of peace! Religion of peace!" over and over again while covering their hands over their ears.

Not just fear, because Muslims won't sit by and ignore the insult as Christians do, but also because Hollywood doesn't hate Muslims. Hollywood only hates Christians.

Mohammed, the true story! Hollywood would make it sound more like the life of Jesus.

Yet somehow they find time to jail and financially destroy Christian families who own small businesses when they refuse to facilitate a sexually immoral event when ordered to do so by sexually immoral people and whatever local government they have managed to take control over (with the devil's help) to effect the persecution of moral Christians. Today's "progressive" (e.g. regressive) liberals are a crazy dangerous breed to good moral Christian people the world over.
