34 million years? Hmm...
Good article but their conclusions are biased towards their evolutionary worldview.

we can read between the lines. There are endless stories like this. that show there is no evolution . This is the case in land animals and sea life, and ancient plants. Regardless of their world view, we as Christians ,see that there is no change.

but if you are using this article then I would assume that means you dont believe in a 6 day creation. I ean 34 million years is a lot older than most biblical literalists believe... unless of course you are cherry-picking from the article which then negates the entire post.

It also could be the the fig wasp could not evolve to a better form once it hit the point 34 million years ago.

Right , I don't believe that the earth is only 6 days old. or 6 thousand yrs old.

Ouch! I believe in a 6 day creation and roughly 6,000 year old world. I like to think I'm moderately intelligent.

good so there is intelligence on these forums

Well Ive seen enough of your over posts to agree you are intelligent. I still think there is far to much information against YEC, but then to each his own. Its just most people tend not to articulate it well as a belief and have one point they base it on.

But you must agree there is loads of evidence that
indicates an old earth, right? You know the type of
stuff expert geologists study.

I understand that the bible implies that the world <= 10,000 years old. Should not all Christians adopt this view if that is what the bible implies ?

I believe the world was created in 6 stages not Earth days.

I lean strongly towards a pre-adamic earth and yet I am not dogmatic about it. All I know is "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth".

All I can say is...

who would dare to have an intellectual argument with a fig wasp?
