And, yes I have judged Trump and I dislike judging. So I will pray on this. But, I cannot trust a person who lies, denigrates women, the military, who does not understand how our government works, who is a serial adulterer, who has said nasty things to so many people. That is not "christian".
You claim to be a Christian?

What do you say about Godless democrats, pro-homosexuality, kill the innocent unborn (Abortion)?

"Crickets" :giggle:

It's my opinion your a liberal, spewing the same (Fake News) as the leftist media regarding President Trump (y)

I am sorry you feel that way. Because i dislike Trump, I am somehow no longer spiritual? If anything it is because Trump is the antithesis of all that jesus taught that I am not for the man.

If you remember when John McCain died, he said some awful things. John McCain was a war hero, who was tortured for over 5 years; he could have gone free but he remained with his soldiers. My husband is a lifelong Republican and he did not vote for Trump. There are quite a few Republicans who did not vote for him. I simply did not vote as my conscience woud not opermit me to vote either side. Same for this election.
John McCain was a traitor to his country, who you kidding!

He worked with Hillary and the DNC, carrying the Russia Hoax (Fake Dossier) to the FBI, McCain knew exactly what he was doing, their 3 year attempted Coup of President Trump (Failed)

John McCain was/is a treasonous traitor

I think that politics and religion dont mix. I am not Pro=Abortionm except under some really extreme conditions.

Because someone runs on the democratic ticket or votes for a democrat does not automatically make them proabortion.
And, because someone runs on the Republican ticket (like Trump) does not automatically make them anti abortion.

There are many people who feel that Trump is not a Christian and more importantly not a moral man who has the best interests of our Country at heart.
That he is playing to Christians to get their vote.
Does he walk the walk of a Christian?
If one lies constantly, how can we trust him?

Again: there are many flavors of Christianity: there are Catholics, Mainline Christians, etc. ww-Why is the Fundamentalist always right and everyone else always wrong? This is what is known as intolerence.

I am spiritual. I am not a Fundamentalist and I just read the rules that I have to be to be here so I will leave. I did Judge Trump and I will pray on that. I cannot change my mind based on the facts about him. yes, we are all sinners. But, I think it is the constant lies that get to me the most.

I wish you all well. You think I am wrong. I know this. I am not alone. There are many Republicans who will vote democrat to get trump out of office. I dont think he will win the reeelction and I dont feel confident in Joe Biden.

I guess we can dig up dirt on anyone, even war heroes, right? Okay. Enough said.
I will pray to God on this. I will pray that our Country is once again a Democracy.

Take care all. last post.

It's my opinion that anyone voting for a pro abortion, pro homosexuality candidate condones their acts, you stated you are voting for Biden who supports both acts mentioned.

You mentioned President Trump isn't a Christian?

Jesus Christ wasnt on the ballot, I didn't vote for a pastor of the church or a spiritual leader.

Scary thing to think if Hillary would have won, I thank God for President Trump, he saved America.

(Obama/Biden/Hillary) A Few Dishonorable Mentions.

1) Benghazi

2) Let the terriost out of Guantanamo Bay back to the battle field

3) Uranium One

4) Biden: Fire the investigator or you don't get the $Billion$

5) Dropping wooden pallets of US $Billions$ to the world terriost in Iran, pure evil!

President Trump is the best thing that the US has seen in decades, he saved America.

No dirt on John McCain, just fact as documented above, a treasonous traitor in the attempted Coup of a duly elected President, and it failed!

Ruth B. Ginsburg bore the fruits of supporting homosexuality and killing the unborn (Abortion), no need to sugar coat the truth.

Matthew 7:18-20KJV
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Do you ever read the posts you respond to and the surrounding context and subject, or you just copypaste rants as you respond to random people?

No one is saying he is God, scripture tells us plainly, very plainly ever since the fall in Genesis He is bringing to fruition His work to redeem man back to Him in relationship.
At this time and for His reason he has raised up a brash person and a remnant of believers to put him in office, for such a time as this.
It doesn't bring me His peace either to see so many argue when it is clear that as created being our "opinions" really don't matter, what our creator says and directs us to be and do matters.
I have heard it taught "our opinions are important but they don't matter", He cares for you, I, and all His creation and gives us the opportunity to be a part of His remedy for the mess mankind has made of it.
Being "spiritual" is something I hear a lot, who created the "spirit"? There are no accidents in the universe, perhaps being "spiritual" is a step in some peoples lives as He draws them to Him to eventual personal, vital, one on one relationship before we go to our reward, we all will go to our reward, someday at a time He knows our hearts will beat for the one last time.
Hope you don't go.

[Speaking of your post specifically now and unrelated to the OP topic]
What if you were born somewhere where people haven't even heard of Jesus, or did not have any real exposure to the Gospel? It's easy for the Western evangelicals to speak like that from the comfort of the first world. I say "first world" in the sense of availability and common cultural knowledge of the Gospel. I love watching Jewish testimonies; a lot of Jewish converts say, per example, that they didn't even have any idea that Jesus was Jewish, or that He was all about Israel, or what happened in the New Testament. They were forbidden to read it, taught as kids that it's dangerous, that it would corrupt them. Some were just lucky blessed to make friends with a believer who patiently explained it to them and intrigued them to finally pick the book up. Did you know that many of them, even living in Western society, used to think Jesus was some Italian and were completely ignorant? How can some evangelicals judge a person like this with such harshness and readily claim they will go to hell, some with an arrogant certainty even? :(
The Bible says no one will be without excuse. No one will be able to say to God, "I didn't hear", or "I wasn't born at the right time or place". I heard of a missionary who went to a village unreached by outside influence. He went to share the Gospel with the "heathens". When he got there he was welcomed by the head of the tribe who said "We have been having dreams of a man named Jesus. We knew someone was going to be sent to tell us about him". God want every single person to be saved and He has and will give everyone the opportunity to come to know Him. If not, He is a liar and His Word is untrue.

Billy's not going over God's Word. By saying "true, to an extent" I think he's pointing at the understandings of some modern evangelicals going over God's Word. They seem obsessed with dogma and debating belief systems, but early Christianity was called simply "the Way". It was meant to be a way of life, a spiritual discipline expounded in the Scriptures, not a religion. It took centuries until the full fledged "Christianity" religion was formed and the full Scriptures compiled. I prefer just "the Way"! Not lofty theology, but Beatitudes and other words from His mouth put in practice. Many understand "the only way "to mean, "the religion of Christianity and its theological dogmas [in our definition, of course] is the only way to be saved". But Jesus refers to Himself as the Way in the Word, not to some religious system or dogma, which was created a long time after He ascended. There's no other Way to enter Heaven, except following Jesus and conforming to His image. Whether the person had a cognitive introduction to Jesus or not. Because no one can seek these things or practice these things without the Spirit's help..

Christos, means Christ Bearer, anointed. That is where the name comes from. You must be a follower of Christ, therefore Christian. You cannot be a Muslim following allah. You cannot follow buddah. You must follow Christ to go to heaven. The only way, no other name. That is why we refer to Christianity. Now, as far as denomination, no, makes no difference. That is a man made ideal. In ministry we traveled in all denominations and went anywhere they allowed us to preach the Gospel of salvation. If we want people to go to heaven we must sound a clear call, Jesus the Christ is the only way.

The Bible prohibits us from declaring who will go up or down (Rom 10). It does tell us the characteristics of people who will or will not inherit the Kingdom, and this is taught for our edification, and is insufficient knowledge for us to pass final judgments over other peoples' souls.
If you live directly against the Word, you will not inherit heaven. You cannot evangelize the world if you cannot tell them they are lost and in sin. Now, as I mentioned in other posts, someone may have a deathbed confession and may have made it to heaven. Yes, that may happen. But very few people ever get that chance. So barring the fact that someone witnessed to Ms. Ginsburg and she made that deathbed confession, which is highly unlikely, then no, she did not inherit heaven. You cannot look at a life lived totally against God and then try to make excuses that they made it to heaven because they were a good person or likeable. Jesus is the only Way, and it's very serious that we make that distinction and make that clear.

But you dont know that. You were not there! She may not have given voice to it. Once I thought I was dying (was not breathing for 3 minutes or so) and as if I was passing out.

Two things went through my mind ... I could not breathe or speak and no one was with me:

1) God, please forgive me for all sins I have committed both known and unknown (not understood) by me at this time.

2) I asked the He please let it end fast.

On the contrary, MOST people get that chance as most do not die instantly ... but over a period of time.

If God can forgive Paul, Hitler (if this is the case), or the multitude of people in prison, He can forgive RBG. She may be like the guy who believed at the crucifixion.

One sinner is not better/worse than another sinner; we are all sinners.
The problem with this is that it has been widely reported that her last words weren’t “I am a sinner in need of Jesus Christ “

They were “ I want the the election winner to appoint my position “

She hopes Biden wins so that he will appoint a justice with similar views as hers. Most importantly an anti-life judge.

Now I do agree that we shouldn’t be speculating on who goes to suffer in hades for now, to be cast into the lake of fire on judgement day. I am content to trust the Lord’s judgement on that.

I didn't look back to see who said anything about Trump to you. So I'll just go from your post. Agreeing or disagreeing with Trump doesn't make one a Christian. But the platform of one party against another is what we are talking about. There used to be two parties, and they were fairly close in belief. You could be Christian and vote either way. But now one party has been taken over by radicals. They have taken the name of God out of their platform. They support abortion at any stage in a pregnancy, homosexual marriage, over 60+ genders, just to name a few. And so that is what I'm talking about when I talk about who a Christian ought to vote for. Not the man, but the party and the platform. I don't see how anyone could support the radical left, and it will go further if they gain office.

The Bible says without knowing Jesus as our Savior, we will not inherit heaven. Is God's Word true or not? By your statement most people will inherit heaven, that is not what the Bible says. This is very serious. And I'm rather shocked that Christians are talking this way. smh

You vote your conscience. Many do believe that Republicans are all prolife & anti homosexuality ... but this just isn't true. Some are even atheists. They have many reasons besides these two issues for voting and so it should be.

The truth is this: If you vote Republican (last 50 years lets say) .... abortion still remains legal and NO ONE. NOT ONE PRESIDENT ... NOR THE SUPREME COURT (which is what it takes) has ended abortion. Abortion was made legal, btw, during a Republican Administration (1970/
can't remember his name. He resigned.
And, homosexuals will still be homosexuals. And no one has taken away their protections and rights ... not one Republican President has done that. What you see are more and more rights. Atheists dont believe in God, right? But no one takes away their rights? Do you see what I am getting at here?

Nothing has changed. check the timeline for yourself. They all promise ... but was Roe vs Wad, 1970 overturned? NO.
Have homosexuals lost rights or gained them? GAINED.

So, talk is cheap.

We were created male and female, there is no other, the adversary has attempted to pervert the created order ever since the fall. There are those who have been delivered, restored and healed from this perversion of the created order.
Several I know who went home had this experience, they looked up, about long enough to hear the words "come up here", then went unconscious, then the body shut down over a period of time.
I have heard it taught this time is a time of resolving things that need resolved before beginning eternity, forgiving others, forgiving oneself, etc.

You really need to read what I wrote again. I repented. To God/which to me is Jesus. What are you shocked about? So, if you were born in Africa and no one told you about Jesus, would you go to Hell.

We do not know anything about her last wishes as she passed away. There are plenty of Christian Democrats who believe we should not select a judge until the election is over. If you remember, Republicans wanted the same the last election.
If the Democrats had controlled the Senate on Obama's way out, his appointment would have passed. Look at the hypocrisy:
