I remember the good old days with black and white TV, just two channels.
If you wanted to change channel you had to get up and press a button.
No mobile phones, hardly anyone had a land line, you had to go to a telephone box/kiosk.
We all played outside at skipping, hop scotch, hide and seek.

Im sure life was healthier and less stressful than it is now, but there again we didn't have
CC either.
You're too young for them things, but I'll give you a pass because you are right.

Now I am trying to remember what I used MSDOS - mode for .... meh, getting too old to remember :p
My first encounter with a Computer was with MS DOS. I had to use it at work and I used an Accounts Programme with it.
MS windows hadn't been produced at the time!

No I'm old enough - unfortunately!

We use to play with a whip and top too, and chalk different colours on
the top. Lol

If you are going to run a large business based on computers, learn how they work. You have to be an idiot to compromise data on a open network.

Been a long time here, I never really used MS DOS but a few commands.
I believe most used it to [format c/ and make bootable] hard drives.

Used when I was building my own house computers, with later windows versions,
Or just for a fresh clean install of a operating system.

someone should have told our government that, like the problems
with the F-35 fighter jet, with a price tag around $1.5 trillion,
it is the most expensive weapons system in history.

A single unnecessary system—one designed to make it easier to order spare parts
—leaves the entire program so vulnerable to hacking that a cyberattack could
ground the whole fleet.
