Seems to me this is more of a "we are being attacked!" christian reaction. So let's see what the bible has to say about this.
Oh here is a section that mocks people who say they care but DO NOTHING.

James 2;16and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

And so it seems that these articles are merely pointing out what THE BIBLE ITSELF points out, that good intentions and well wishing are useless without ACTION.

I actually think the articles are way more inline with biblical principle than many of the responses in this thread.
How do you know you are in the company of those who do nothing? Are you a mind reader? Can you see into our day planners?:p

Well thats a rather smug opinion. What they are doing is being in lock step with the president who mocks people who cling to God and their guns. Id say its more in line with

Ps. 14...The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds...

If you think they are more in line with the Bible you need to shake your head.

MY point was that God commands us to DO as well as to ask Him. IT is pretty clear from the general tone of the responses that I shouldn't have bothered with responding in the first place as there seems to be no room for a different view point.

Do you really think that all you did was arrive with a different viewpoint? Read what you wrote again:

You did not simply come with a different opinion. What you came here and implied was that many of our reactions were unjustified, un-Biblical false imaginings of being attacked.

You came with undue criticism, saw it was not well-received (surprise!) and now you're blaming the audience for how they received your message. It's you.

You weren't the only one here with a different viewpoint (see post #14). Don't play the victim; that's not going to work here.

Well I am glad number 14 had the guts not to hop on the bandwagon and present a possible alternative view.

What I love about all of this is that Obama is ALWAYS saying (after some tragedy, like Paris) that he and his family are praying for the victims..............

:)

Wonder why when he says such we do not see these kinda Headlines?

I wouldn't be worrying what Huff Post says, they aren't exactly the Moral Depository.
