I receive updates and information from Reverend Canon Andrew White, who is vicar of St George's Church, Baghdad, Iraq and is affectionately known as The Vicar of Baghdad. His church is the only Anglican church in Iraq and is known as The English Church.

Today he has announced on Twitter and Facebook the following message, but of course you never get to hear this kind of thing in the media.


We seriously need your prayers ISIS have stated they will start killing all the Christians in Mosul
from mid day Saturday unless they convert or pay jazeera tax, this is really seriously we need your prayers




His church is one of the top targets on Isis list and Andrew White has received numerous death threats and been told he will be the first to die along with all other Christians when Isis take power.

Where's Ban-ki-Moon when it comes to ISIS?
Too busy jumping on Israel's case trying to defend herself...hypocrites.

Where is the imminent rapture for those Christians? Cant imagine the Lord's churches going through TRIBULATION.....HOW many pre-tribbers would call this persecution and tribulation (which means) pressure, put the squeeze on, tribulation???????????????????????

Yeah I agree and will add...I cant imagine the Lord's churches going through any type of persecution/tribulation.....where is the imminent rapture for those CHRISTIANS?...Maybe they ain't faithful enough....!

Like Paul said...that I might attain unto a better resurrection.......He was willing to give his head for the cause....and it take guts to truly lay your life down for Jesus...unto death that is!

There has always been this type of persecution since Cain and Abel but that didn't prevent the bible speaking of future types possibly way more horrific. Even Enoch was spared from God's wrath, so tribulation doesn't preclude a pre-trib rapture...nice try amigo.

Wasn't a try mi amigo....this is just the beginning and soon my friend you will realize that the resurrection/change takes place at the 7th trump...and I say this with no heat, anger and or animosity!

The news just reported an assault taking place on/in Mosul.....well like 30 minutes ago, but nothing about Christians being killed as of yet

Heard Canon Andrew White speak today, he said that there was a mass exodus of Christians from Mosul prior to the deadline.

Did you know that Mosul is modern name for Nineveh?

Last night it was reported that ISIS OR IS IT ISIL? has given ALL non muslims until Saturday to convert to Islam or die, or be imprisoned or whatever. Now, I surely believe these demons pretending to be human are quite capable of mass murder, so I have to admit that there is a real possibility of a genocide occurring in Iraq.

It's not just Christians that they are targeting though. Just saying. So what can be done about this? I do not believe our Government will do much more than pay lip service to the issue, and I'm not sure any other Government will do anything either. It appears that no one wants to put "boots on the ground" to prevent such a horrific event from happening, and boots on the ground is the only way to prevent it.

I've been thinking about this pretty much all night, and IF I WERE KING...........(President) I would immediately begin to gather all the Military resources possible and station them in the Kurdish governed part of northern Iraq, and begin military strikes against ISIS to keep them busy while other forces assisted all who wished to flee the country. Take them north to the Kurdish controlled part of Iraq, secure them there........providing temporary housing, food, medical attention and such. Then begin to work with the various Western European Nations to try and relocate these people to a safe place to begin to rebuild their lives...........including some of them coming to the US.................

I would make ISIS pay a heavy price.............and I MEAN A HEAVY PRICE for their actions............I would target the portions of Iraq that they control now, and return that area to the sands from which it rose...........every roadway, bridge, building, whatever.............but, now, that's just me...........I would target and eliminate ANY who bore arms against the US and/or attacked non Muslims simply based on their religious beliefs.

I would deal with Saudi Arabia as well. For the Saudis are seriously responsible for a lot of what is happening in the Middle East. They along with Iran.............and IRAN MUST be dealt with as well.

Anyway, I'd probably give rise to a Third World War, but, shoot, we pretty much got a Third World War going on now, what with the insane jihadists running all over the globe trying to murder any they consider the enemy............so.........

Maybe Pelosi, Reid and the gang can figure out a way to impose stiffer gun control over yonder in the M.E. :p
