Now they are making games for kids where the Antichrist is the hero.

A new video game entitled Lucius allows you to play the role of the main character, a young boy who finds out on his 6th birthday that he is the Antichrist – the satanically-empowered false Messiah who will rule the world for 3 ½ years before the Second Coming of Christ.

This is just another reminded of just how warped the world is today, most video games are vile, full of sex, much violence, witchcraft, adult situations and satanic themes!

Woe to those who profess Christ, and play and endorse these games, this is another of Satan's tricks to blind the world and ignorant Christians into believing in the lie, and keep them in bondage and in a lukewarm state, dead to God and His word!

Unless the professing world repents on the scale of Nineveh, crucifies thier flesh with Christ as commanded, and coming out from the world and its vain attractions, they will not see why these games are wrong.

We who belong to Christ must preach repentance, and stand strong against the pop culture leading Gods children into perdition, as they seek pleasure and entertainment over godliness and holiness!

Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Such "games" are inherently dangerous, imho, as they are sending out the wrong message to young and impressionable children who play them as well as to all others. If the First Amendment did not offer them some form of protection I'm sure many would prefer that they be Banned!

The game is actually 2 years old by no and honestly didn't do well at all. Even as an avid gamer I heard very little about this. Especially since it was independently made and not done by one of the large game companies.

That was my first thought. I only keep tab on a few game series that I actually like, but many of my friends are avid gamers, and not once I have I ever heard of "Lucius."

Normally, it doesn't matter who the game is catered to; children will play them anyway. In this case, this game is on the PC and has no mass appeal or peer pressure to play. When the next Grand Theft Auto comes out, this will be a different case entirely.

Do I think it is a sick premise? Yes. Am I surprised someone made it? No. But people on the fringe will always use the means of sharing information available to them, it doesn't mean the modes themselves are inherently bad when approached with wisdom.

I just finished watching the Lucifer series on Netflix.

It portrays God as an absentee father (which is why Lucifer is angry) and that Lucifer is a bumbling out of touch with his feelings idiot that is just misunderstood. Which does allow for a lot of comedic relief. The show NEVER once mentions Jesus.

All in all it's an obvious farce comedy.

Your Satan is a very personal satan...he always sounds like the best idea, the most convenient emotion for "what is right at the moment" when you are frustrated, tired, hurting, and angry. You want relief and Satan offers you what seems like a good idea of revenge and lashing out at anyone that crosses your path that seems deserving of your revenge.

The show does get one point right....your guilt sends you to Hell and you can't enter Heaven with any guilt at all.

Right. Family entertainment and all that

We are all guilty of something and that is why God sent His only Son to die on our behalf so that we do not experience the punishment for our guilt aka sin.

How could a show about the devil, which portrays that creature in a good light (according to current understanding in a world so sinful that children are raped and sold into slavery) have anything beneficial to it?

whatever

It's an obvious farce....and my wife and I watched it. We aren't seduced to the dark side by such nonsense and pray that our personal demons do not have victory over us.
