Maybe. Maybe not. But it's good. Very good. In fact, if implemented, there'd be no reason for a wall. We could build lovely bridges, but with a toll, of course.

I think it provides for the safety and well being of Mexico's citizens. It keeps families together. It prevents deaths in the desert. All of those ideas in the OP are powerful incentives for illegals here to return home and be with their families.

Our schools are overcrowded. Hospitals financially strained, just even for providing medical care to the millions of uninsured pregnant women from other countries. Wages drop. Crime. So on.
