I just watch, read and listen to bloggers who are way less biased. I used to be in a conservative Facebook group and I once asked "hey does anyone know of an unbiased news outlet"? I saw many saying Fox News and One News Network and I knew I got nowhere. Many believe unbiased news is the one they agree with. Someone mentioned RT news and they are good as well.

I like listening to BBC for news from America. Not having a "horse in the race," as it were, they have an interesting take on events here.

It is obvious where this site's bias is.
ummm.... yeah, it's obvious that there is no bias.

The top two -- AP and Reuters -- are internationally known to be the top two news sources as far as being non-biased and accurate, in the order they gave. I was surprised to see ABC above NPR. Normally NPR comes in above. Both tend a little to the left but still both accurate. Bloomberg is right-biased.

The only bias that list have is toward truth.

Have you ever noticed that there are NO math text books that are willing to publish that 2+2=5?!?!?

There is obvious bias in Main Stream Math. They won't even let people publish the alternative math. All of the math books out there insist that 2+2=4. No matter where you go, that's all you will find. This is proof that you can't find truth out there, it's all biased, and if you dare to print something that is different than what "they" want to say, you'll be censored.

(In case there's anyone here who can't figure it out, I'm being sarcastic, and trying to show how stupid people sound when they try to say that Bloomberg or Reuters are "left-biased." I'm sorry that the truth so often (not always, but often) agrees with what liberals say. If your find that your opinions are so often at odds with facts, rather than blaming the facts for being "biased," maybe you should consider that your "opinions" aren't actually "opinions" at all, and are just plain wrong.)

And how STUPID you sound for supporting these bias new sites.

news is news, it isnt always accurate or complete. Thats why you need to check other sources.

If you ever had experience in the news room or journalism, you know that reporting things as they happen you arent always there at the scene, or its incomplete, as the story unfolds.

Plus, in most news items or segments they cant cover everything.

Look up the fifth estate, its a journo term.

Usually bloggers etc will talk about stuff after its happened to give a bit of outside perspective. Remember most news is DAILY. Its about stuff that happened that day.

well yesterday most people heard that my town (auckland) is shut down for 3 days. You heard it on tv or radio, or from other people, we also got official govt messages sent to smartphones.

Govts can and do interrupt news and tv programming for special announcements. They also put out special press releases and ads in newspapers and online, they also have a website.

The news doesnt have to be someone else reporting it as in an official news outlet. sometimes news is just people telling each other or an email or something.

If you hadnt heard it, and its relevant to you, its news.

Well, yes, people sound stupid when they support "news" sites that print stuff that just isn't true (like Fox, on the right, and CNN, on the left). That was kind of the point.

a lot of news print stuff that isnt true all the time...in the rush to get copy.

You can take them to the press council or complain to the broadcasting comission. They can be fined or sued. Though a lot of people dont bother and just let tabloids and hard copy be.

Because of switch to online 'news' sites like TMZ can operate and gossip 24/7 lol.

This news aggregate site is about as good as I've found: https://citizenfreepress.com/
This is not a "news aggregate site." It's little more than a blog, led by one person who doesn't have a degree in journalism. It's little more than one person's opinion, posting stuff that he personally thinks is true.

That's not news.

If you're interested in reading it, by all means, go ahead. Free speech and all that. But don't be fooled into thinking that it's "responsible journalism," or even "news." It isn't.

A "journalism degree"?! You can't be serious.

I don't trust a SINGLE person with that piece of indoctrinated sheepskin!

Plus, it IS a news aggregate site. You can click on each story, originating from some other place. He may comment on the story, but that doesn't change the story.

Ah, you're one of those "I don't trust experts. I want my doctors to be ignorant of anatomy, my IT people to be luddites, and my lawyer to be someone who learned from watching episodes of Night Court."

Ah, you’re one of those.

Ignorant leftists, that think they are superior, when in fact they are of low intellect, and dutifully parrot what they’ve been indoctrinated to repeat.
With a total inability to critically think.

Got it!

OMG, the equivalent of "I know you are but what I am."

I am deeply wounded. What superior debate skills you have. I bow to your excellence.

I doubt the intellect allows you to be deeply wounded. After all, you’re a leftist! Lol

But by all means continue to bow. Be bout the only smart thing you done since coming here and spiking the ire of so many in the month or so since joining. Congratulations!
