It's true that I'm liberal on most social and political issues but I have not drank all the Woke-a Cola of the left
This is an example is the way they pride themselves on being all about women's rights, LGBT rights etc but will call people like Sam Harris racist when he says it's probably not a good idea to import millions of people who don't share these values
Loyalty is not high on their list of virtues, if at all.

I don't see what he's in prison for. He didn't do anything different than BlM and Antifa did during the summer of love riots. They tried to pull the same thing the other night with the five cops but luckily they're all black.
This is post is so succinctly beautiful. I need to be verbose to adequately express myself. But, yours showed an ability to drive the point home in three sentences.

Usually in a riot situation the cops are outnumbered so they just call in national guard to protect buildings like the courthouse and just sit back and watch everyone destroy their own neighborhoods.
Really not a whole lot they can do when they're outnumbered a hundred to one at least

There is plenty they can do. They choose not to. Some fire hoses and rubber bullets would put a stop to it if they were serious. The idea that law enforcement isn't capable is simply untrue. Otherwise, we're just the Wild West all over again.

Yeah you can disperse the crowd using fire hoses tear gas ECT but good luck arresting thousands of people. Where are you going to put them

Dispersing the crowd solves the problem. Just take pictures and arrest them later.
The problem is there is no consequence to lawlessness. Until there is, there will be lawlessness.
If the VP of the US is going to help bail criminals out of jail, what kind of justice is going to prevail?

No they can't. The moment they do that, the media and leftist politicians will be out for their careers... and their blood.

Freedom has always come at a price. Either to get it or keep it. If that price isn't paid, if people don't have the courage of their convictions, then they will eventually lose their freedom.
People who choose security over freedom lose both.

I agree. But, too many police officers, especially in "blue" areas like NYC and Los Angeles, are showing us the "Ferguson effect". They figure, why do their jobs if every time they get rough with a black suspect because he waves a knife at them could get them suspended, arrested, sued, or the people are permitted by the local politicians to start terrorizing the local businesses with riots??

There will be consequences for doing right. Our founding fathers lost most if not all they had. But if we continue on this path, so will we and our posterity. We can take the quick way or the slow way. One way offers light down the road. The alternative is a slow death.

That is not an acceptable response. If the people of NYC or LA do not welcome you, then shake off the dust, sell your house, resign your job with the police and move to a town that will welcome you. It is very easy to move from the highest priced real estate to the lowest priced, so you have no excuse. But not doing your job is not a valid excuse and you will be judged for that.

Easy for you to judge. I'd probably back off too if my own mayor was enabling or backing up the 'defund the police' protests, as DiBlidiot did. Or, I might just quit, which some did too.

I don't know what you are saying. I am simply quoting the Bible, this is the prescribed path of the Lord. It is a basic principle in the New testament that we are to follow our Spirit and listen to the life and peace.

Also I am not telling others to do anything different than what I did.

I am saying that police officers who pull back from doing their jobs have done so after all of the defund-the-police protests. Mayors in Dem-run cities criticized their own police forces and did not have their backs. No support from the media, from thousands of street "protesters", and no support from your own mayor? I'd back off too. Your response was about a city rejecting the gospel. It has nothing to do with police officers' collective morale being destroyed.

What you are describing has nothing to do with the city I live in. If NYC where I used to live no longer welcomes you, then by all means leave. This world is not our home, we are only passing through, we are supposed to be ambassadors for the Kingdom, time to move to another city.

I left NYC and I can tell you it is very easy to go from NYC to the midwest. Everything is easier, cheaper, and friendlier.

So I do not accept the idea that Christians are supposed to be complainers and whiners. You preach the gospel, what people do with it is up to them. If they receive it, then you can have small group meetings and build something up. If they reject it, fine, shake off the dust and move on to the next city.

I was talking about police officers who's morale declines to the point where they're reluctant to do their jobs to their fullest capacity.

Tired of the merry-go-round... moving on.
