Adrenaline, emotion, distraction, fear... It often takes trained cops multiple rounds to hit someone at semi-close range. How many rounds in a taser? What if you miss? Maybe they should come out with automated taser guns.
It's all a matter of controlling your emotions in a crisis. Some people remain rock steady under that kind of pressure others lose their cool. Training, practice and being mentally prepared all play a part in how one reacts in those situations.

a 9mm what a joke. If you going to own a gun...own a real gun..
Lol I'm afraid .40 cal is as high as I go. Any higher and I can't aim it properly. It's like carrying around a mace. You hope it's big enough you'll hit something when you flail your arms around wildly. And you hope it's scary enough you won't have to. But 9mm and .40 cal are more practical. When that two-foot long flame comes booming out of the .45, the pistol just about jumps out of my hands, so I have to squeeze it so hard the gun shakes and can't aim it straight over long distance. Whenever I try a new caliber, though, I only put one round into the magazine in case it does get away from me. lol

This man's actions do not match his rhetoric. He's an enemy of women, and almost an indirect champion of men who want to assault and sexualize women.
Yes, indirect champion is an accurate description of Mr. President.

he's set himself against the moral traditional nuclear Christian families

Her elbows weren't locked.
You state the obvious. In a crisis situation you want something you can shoot fast and accurately. Something that the recoil is light enough you can easily handle one handed. The 50 cal handgun isn't really a practical a weapon for self defence.

That's why I have a rocket launcher installed in my car.

It automatically targets all Obama bumper stickers.

Could you launch rockets at feminazis while you're at it? Thanks.

Im pretty sure ive seen self defence courses that teach and enable you to protect yourself against someone twice your size, even when attacked by surprise. There are other options than guns..

Sure, prepare for all possible contingencies. Prepare for those situations in which you'd face an opponent armed with a gun. Prepare for those situations in which you'd face an opponent when neither of you has a gun.

As a side note, I think the belief that life is more important than freedom is a recurring opinion that most countries in the world don't support at the international level. When attacked or threatened by another country not bent on genocide but simple domination, why does the threatened country fight back? To preserve its way of life and its freedoms. Not to save life. I think the same principle operates when it comes to gun ownership in America. We don't want to be dominated by a bunch of Nazis who strip sensible adults of their right to bear arms and then slowly tighten its authoritarian grip on the People. I think we'd rather fight back. Every nation knows that, so most politicians want to take the guns away from the masses so they can't fight back. And common criminals aren't the only criminals in the world as history has proven time and time again. One's political elite can be criminals as well. And we need to guard ourselves against every sort of criminal that would abuse us.
