I liked your answer regarding what would constitute POTUS "success". But, if the success depends on him having to divide the intent of his supporters, then you have to admit that success is impossible.
Yes success would be Impossible with division but thats what Trump pushes and as long as people don't want to call wrong, wrong, then he will continue leading people Into darkness until It dawns on them, this Is wrong.

You know.... I think we are putting these people in office just because we simply want to see them there. But this is going just a little too far....
I'd have to write Cartman in on the ballot before Oprah or Zuckerberg....

There isn't much feeling about going on on my end. But then again that is why libs are so off. They make decisions based off of their feelings.

Yes, it is a laughable position, but they believe what they say, because they are so deceived. Selfish but sincere also comes to mind. Like my daughter's aunt telling me it is Trump's fault your country is divided. LOL. Meanwhile I look at what is going on in Europe and I thank God and the sensible people in the United States of America for voting Donald Trump into the highest office of the land :)

And his right hand man, Pence, has been on national TV witnessing for the Lord Jesus Christ! And IMO, Trump is just quiet about his faith to a degree......because being President is about freedom and liberty.

These folks have love for God. Love for country. Love for the people. Love for liberty. And not so much love for entitlements and victim attitude.

Anybody.......try to find Obama or anyone in his periphery that witnessed for the Lord Jesus Christ.

:)IMO,successful would be creating Jobs that say made In America and I know It cost more but to me that would be a good thing,I don't agree with pro choice and gay rights but I would like to see unity rather than division.

I like many of Presidents proposals, but he seems to think pleasing his selfish supporters Is more Important than helping most of the legitimately sincere good people that voted for him and leading us like a big brother.
How do you separate his selfish supporters from the
legitimately sincerely good people that voted for him?
When I say the selfish supporters,I'm talking about those supporters that are chanting BUILD THAT WALL,BUILD THAT WALL not because they want a secure border, but they feel people IE mexicans are taking their jobs,raping,ect...because of all the dividing fear that Trump Is pushing. The sincere supporters are supporting him because they sincerly want secure borders.

I used build the wall to describe what I meant, but there are other things his base love to here no matter who It hurts.

#selfish.

You talk as if people cannot be sincere and selfish at the same time.
I honestly trully believe some Trump supporters have fell Into some kind of Hynotic trance.
So yes IMO people can be sincerly selfish In that sense.

The man came along and said what 50+ million Americans have been thinking for a long time. That we are held hostage by career politicians who say one thing and do another. If anyone is hypnotized it is those who are and have been slaves to the 2 party paradigm. Such as the person I responding to.

Trump does push division. There is no doubt about that. His entire Campaign was based on division. He has alienated the majority of the Media. He has alienated every Democrat in Congress. He has alienated pretty much every Democrat/Liberal in America. He has alienated the Hispanics. He has alienated the Muslims. He has alienated the majority of Blacks. He has even alienated some of the Republicans in Congress. And, this is just in America.

Now, to be fair, Obama and the Democrats are not now, or have ever been any better. They too have built their kingdoms through division of the peoples.

When a Politician (any Politician) calls for "unity," it is because they are the ones in the Majority in Congress, or in the White House. THEN, and only then, do they call for the Nation to unite for the "common good." :) And it does not matter if they are Republican or Democrat.

I am hard pressed to remember a time in our Nation's History (since the Civil War) when we have been more divided than we are today. In my opinion, our Nation has suffered a permanent fracture/split, and will never be united completely again. Only if some horrific event unfolds.......man made or natural.......will some sense of unity be realized, but, even then, once the danger is passed, the unity will disappear quickly.

Deserved or not, for better or for worse, Trump has become the Poster Child for the division of our Nation.
