Ivermectin is undergoing trials. First results indicate that it is harmless in human doses but harmful if animal variants are used. There is also initial evidence to suggest that it is useless.

Go to any Chemist (US drug store) and there will be a wall or three devoted to vitamins and minerals. One or two have been researched to demonstrate their efficacy. In Australia, they all have a declaration that they are only to overcome vitamin deficiencies. Of course, that that is fine print that is swamped by exaggerated claims. One or two manufacturers have been fined for making false claims. So they are more inclined to include phrases such as "may help" instead of snake oil type declarations that were commonplace.

People are used to taking vitamins, in spite of there being little evidence that they actually do any good for the average person. When someone starts spouting the virtues of Acacia berries, Cranberry juice and such, there is always a large number of people who swallow the baseless claims. Yes, terrible pun I know.

I was advised by my Urologist to drink Cranberry juice. It's expensive. It does not taste that good. And it did absolutely nothing to help. The latest research indicates that Cranberry juice has no practical protection against UTI's. I can confirm that experientially. It should work in theory. it does not in practice.

Ivermectin has yet to complete clinical trials. Initial research and anecdotal evidence suggests that it is useless against COVID or COVID's effects on the human body.
Why would any medical practitioner use large 'animal' doses on humans? They wouldn't.
It's redundant to even mention that. Every medication can be lethal or cause problems if given in massive doses.
That is why all prescription drugs come with dosage instructions for children & adults.
Even vitamans & minerals can cause health problems if taken in huge doses.

Avoiding Ivermectin which has been used to treat humans for years while rushing to take a new,

experimental vaccine is irrational.

That vitamins are good for people is not a baseless claim.
The human body needs nourishment to fight illness & God has provided that.

What is nourishing about ivermectin? It's no more a foodstuff than aspirin. And yes, ivermectin has been used and is harmless. But it is also USELESS until PROVEN otherwise. And it has not been proven. Vaccines have been around since the end of the 19th century. The new type of vaccines are an advance on the previous types. I had far less reaction to Astra Zeneca than to a traditional flu vaccine.

The vaccines have been tested. There are side effects. Every medication has potential side effects. A close friend of mine suffered acute kidney injury because of an anti viral she was given in hospital. The anti viral medication has been around for years. She's fully recovered but it was 3 very difficult weeks, a lot of it in ICU.

Most of the people I know have been vaccinated. I'm against mandatory vaccination. People should be allowed to choose. I spent months researching and praying about the vaccine. I do not regret having the jabs. I know no one who has had any adverse reaction to the jab, apart from the mildest of symptoms.

I know what hospital staff go through with the pandemic. I spent 8 days in hospital last year. I can assure you that if any of them thought that ivermectin was efficacious, they would recommend it and take it themselves. I was very ill, breathing was lousy, high temperature and in extreme pain. I was treated by staff wearing N95 masks that cut into your face and face shields that are annoying and inconvenient. I did not have COVID, but they had to be sure.

Why do they care about COVID? Because it is potentially deadly, and for some people the long term effects are debilitating and difficult to treat.

Vitamins are good for people. What is baseless is that the modern diet needs vastly overpriced supplements. You get vitamins in your food. That's how God intended, not to live on pills. I fell for the bull surrounding some of the vitamin promotion. I tried vitamin C in large doses. No health benefit. Likewise iron tablets, except briefly when my blood count was low. Eating more red meat fixed that. Cider vinegar does nothing. I have low cholesterol. I take nothing routinely. I just eat reasonably well. I've wasted money on multivitamins, but not any more. I eat cheese and drink milk. I have strong bones. I don't need calcium.

I've scanned the shelves. Out of the plethora of vitamins on offer, two stated that they had been scientifically tested. The rest? Hearsay, wishful thinking, even the placebo effect.

The issue with ivermectin is not medical practitioners. It's people buying ivermectin apart from the medical profession. It's far easier to get animal ivermectin than to get a prescription from a doctor. And that can be a problem. The dosage may exceed what is safe. And some people start to bark and scratch a lot.

You can find anything that you want on the internet. No doubt there is a survey of martians who have COVID being cured by drinking seawater. The question is the source. Your sources disagree entirely with mine.

Do you really imagine that the makers of ivermectin would not promote it with glee is it actually worked? It's a potential goldmine, an existing product, cheap to make with all the development and compliance costs recovered. Well Merck does not promote ivermectin as an anti COVID drug. The opposite : https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-ivermectin-molnupiravir-idUSL1N2R32JP

The cost of developing new treatments is massive. Every new drug is a financial risk. That's why medications are so expensive, especially at first. I know a little of the industry through previous jobs.

Sure, ivermectin kills the virus. So does bleach, 70% alcohol, concentrated hydrochloric acid and a wide range of other chemicals. The point is not killing the virus. It's treating people and keeping them alive in the process. Viruses are parasitic but not in the same way as a worm. Ivermectin is good for its intended use. So far, a combination of a substantial vaccination program and more advanced medical treatments (not invermectin!) have dramatically reduced the death rate from COVID in Australia.
I thought the death rates in Australia dropped because they have everyone under lock and key and/or have citizens quarantined in camps. 🤔

Pfizer CEO says fourth vaccine shot may eventually be needed

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla on Wednesday said that a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine may eventually be needed amid concerns about the omicron variant.

Bourla told CNBC that he previously thought a fourth shot may be needed 12 months after the third dose, but with omicron, that timeline may need to be moved up.

"I think we will need the fourth dose," he said, pointing to his previous timeline of 12 months. "With omicron, we need to wait and see because we have very little information. We may need it faster."

Some experts have been skeptical of the need for additional shots of the vaccine, noting that companies like Pfizer have a financial interest in selling more shots and that even two shots could still provide protection against severe disease, particularly in nonelderly people.

Still, many experts, including the Biden administration's health officials, (Biden's experts...oxymoron of the year) have backed the idea of at least a third shot, particularly given the threat of omicron.

One possibility is also that any fourth dose could be one specifically targeted to omicron, something Pfizer is exploring.

As Bourla said as well, there is still the need for more data on a fourth shot's necessity.

Waterloo is within an hour of me. I'm starting to wonder about those who insist this is all good.
Perhaps the Chinese can help...since they're already here.

In the Waterloo area, 86 stillbirths have occurred from January to July and normally it’s one stillbirth every two months. But here’s the kicker, mothers of stillbirth babies were Fully Vaccinated.”
And did you read the totally inane and stupid response of the Health Minister when confronted with this tragedy? So who is going to arrest these people who think they are above the law while they commit murder?

They don't think they are above the law...they are the law! Who's going to stop them...the police...the military? The citizens who voted Trudeau back in?

Exactly. But this is the foolishness which is typical of those who refuse to face the facts, and wish to create a straw man argument. The medical establishments were bound and determined to ensure that no one received any early treatments. They literally SABOTAGED them so that the death rates would spiral. Indeed Dr Malone who invented mRNA technology has publicly stated that Fauci is responsible for half a million unnecessary deaths because he sabotaged ivermectin. So why has he not been executed for mass murder?

Interesting. I make my own cranberry juice and it's not expensive. Does taste pretty bad but the last time my 10 year old started having uti symptoms, she drank about 4 cups and the uti went away.
Probably depends on the person and how early the uti is dealt with. One of my sisters waited too long, tried the cranberry juice, and got worse.
But from MY personal experience, it works. 🤷‍♀️

I imagine it's much the same with Ivermectin. Perhaps it works great for some people but not others. Just like with medical care, it's not a one size fits all.

am I the only one who actually really likes cranberry juice? we almost always have some at home; in fact I am actually having some right now

oh

and it does work for UTI's...but I just drink it cause I like it:giggle:

He is not interested in any of the studies or any of the evidence, the only reason he is engaging in these threads is to push his view which has not shown the slightest interest in learning from others.

Gideon has shown his true colors in all his propagandist posts. We have to wonder if he is in the pockets of Big Pharma.

But for those who want the truth -- The Lancet (at one time a respected medical journal which also became a propaganda source for COVID tyranny) -- is now forced to admit the truth (but not in plain English). This is a recent article from Dec 1, 2021.

The epidemiological relevance of the COVID-19-vaccinated population is increasing
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanepe/article/PIIS2666-7762(21)00258-1/fulltext?s=08#
In plain English "It is the vaccinated population which is infecting others"

But they always want to hedge their bets, and refuse to be plain spoken. So here is how they have worded it: "[There is] clear evidence of the increasing relevance of the fully vaccinated as a possible source of transmission..." If it is "clear evidence" then why use the word "possible"?

They cited the problem in Israel (one of the highest vaccinated countries in the world, and subjected to another Holocaust by its own medical establishment with the help of Big Pharma): "In Israel a nosocomial [whatever that means] outbreak was reported involving 16 healthcare workers, 23 exposed patients and two family members. The source was a fully vaccinated COVID-19 patient. The vaccination rate was 96.2% among all exposed individuals (151 healthcare workers and 97 patients). Fourteen fully vaccinated patients became severely ill or died, the two unvaccinated patients developed mild disease [4]

What are they saying? If you have been vaccinated YOU ARE A WALKING HAZARD to those around you, particularly the unvaccinated, and you are also a ticking time bomb for yourself. Wow! And all this hype about vaccines was also promoted by the Lancet and others. What else? Chances of you dying are greater if you are vaccinated. (Pfizer's CEO has not taken the jab, and Fauci probably took a bogus jab (saline solution?) for the sake of publicity).

Talk about gross medical negligence? Watch this: "The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies four of the top five counties with the highest percentage of fully vaccinated population (99.9–84.3%) as “high” transmission counties [5]. Many decisionmakers assume that the vaccinated can be excluded as a source of transmission. It appears to be grossly negligent to ignore the vaccinated population as a possible and relevant source of transmission when deciding about public health control measures."

Why could they not come right out and say "BAN THESE USELESS BOGUS VACCINES"? And then sincerely apologize for their own shenanigans.

It's really bitter plain. But sweetening it, of course, defeats the purpose. I've only met one other person that actually enjoyed drinking it.
At least it's not SO bad that my kids refuse to drink it when needed.

Research “Game-Changer”: Jabs Increase Heart Attacks, Destroy Immune Systems
“We conclude that the mRNA vacs dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium (layer of cells lining the blood vessels) and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis (clotting), cardiomyopathy, (a group of diseases that affect the heart muscle) and other vascular events following vaccination.” (“Abstract 10712: Mrna COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test: a Warning”, Circulation)
