I see what you mean. The movement seems to be doing more harm than good. I empathize with their frustrations but the way they are going about it is not helping. I wish I could offer a solution but I don't have one

Lets just say a real black LEADER waded into the fray with the blacks in mind.

I actually think Dude is beginning to be more rational in many of his posts than perhaps a month ago.

Dude suffers from an acquired world view through a " black victim" prism.

I have many black friends. My pastor is black

None of my black friends are. " gangsta". All are family men. Top notch people.

One of them,my pastor, is an Obama duped follower. I will not attend his church,but we still love each other.

2weeks ago I ended op beside him in a long line at a cafeteria. We talked real well,but the conversation turned to the lost world.

Well,in 5 seconds he made the jump to Obama,(you know,the "cure" for blacks and anyone wanting a gov/man savior) HE MADE A SCENE. Accusing me of posting criticism on facebook,instead of praying for our president.

The whole restaurant could hear the unprovoked rant.

I know he is duped. He let the black/ white,black / victim deal in and it is parked in his mind and spirit.

In this age, for a young black man to rise up above the meat grinder of racisist propaganda, from his own peers,is practically a miracle.
Most,possibly 70%, are fatherless,so most start out with an "orphan" mentality/spirit.

Enter schools,media,music,and now a racist,divisive,gangsta president.

He has to wade through all that,to form his own circumspect view.

I am convinced that people are determined to enter their rabbit hole views and it is so strong that we will need a miracle for the thing NOT to develop into a bloodbath.

They are going to riot. That is Obama's plan. He wants a civil war to get the guns. They now have the civilian army Obama spoke of 8 years ago.

Take any 18 year old,but especially a black teenager.

He,from the age of 10 has had his life and views molded from a CULTURALLY centered president,school,and peers.

I'm not sure how to solve this problem, maybe it can't be solved, but both sides can do something to increase the level of trust between black and white. The fundamental problem is not necessarily segregation, but the lack of trust, which, of course is one of the offspring's of segregation.

As of now, the two communities are a long journey from one another, meaning reconciliation is still in the sweet by and by, using the lyrics of an old beloved hymn. We need build bridges between us and them. I was raised in the Deep South, the area had both black folks and white folks. Even though I knew of black people I didn't know one black person. This was the way things was, and I have never been to a black church. It's stories like mine that need to be changed. But both sides have to participate.

A good start would be to give the right people in minority communities a voice vs the wrong ones.

I am of the view, and a this is because of my experience with Christ, and also just having lived a little thanks to my age and having a fairly full life, that yes, people are sometimes behind the 8 ball due to their upbringing. But after a while, when they reach a certain age, I don't really want to hear all the excuses anymore.
I actually don't much like people with victim mentalities that just want to alibi away all their bad choices.

Its was not because of race issues ..it was because they lacked moral character..large percentage was black
