If all the opposing bishops demanded his immediate resignation (and there are many, especially in Africa) Francis would have to step down. Already several bishops are telling their parishioners to reject this unbiblical teaching of Francis. And this is not the only issue.
That's awesome to hear.

The final/last pope/Antichrist
will rise from the dead.

Revelation 13:3-4 KJV
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
[4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

I'm aware of the doctrinal issues of Catholicism. I also believe people can be born again and Catholic. This is not a defense of some of their teachings, but I do think God can work in it.
Do you believe that they are bearing good fruit and getting people saved?

It is a good sign that they're shocked. And, I hope there is a massive break. This pope needs to be removed. Is there an impeachment process of sorts that can be applied?
The pope is said to be infallible when it comes to doctrine.

It would be a great blow to the doctrine of the church if a pope was seen as fallible.. at least in my view

This is obviously an very important subject for Christians, which requires much clarification.

Why is there no mention of homosexuality in the ten commandments and in Christ's Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes? As far as I am aware.

I do not know much of other major religions but is there direct forbiddance in their texts and teachings?

My own stance is I believe in one man, one woman marriage and in the traditional family unit. This is what I believe the Bible teaches.

Yet there is no guidance of any alternative way, but does that necessarily mean other ways are sinful?

Agreed. It might revolutionize the Catholic denomination, maybe for the good.

I don't know. Never asked. I only make this assumption based on a) my experiences with them, and b) the words of others whose spiritual judgment I trusted.
My point is if we do not know how they were saved. we can not really say they are saved..

Well, I suppose the same could apply to anyone anywhere in any church. Only God knows for sure. However, we each have our feelings and gut reactions, and my gut reactions tell me that those people knew the Lord.

If you think a Catholic can't be saved, that's your opinion, but I'm not sure you should be swinging an axe of judgment at them -- which it SOUNDS like you're doing.

I think we can know by their gospel.. There is only one way to heaven.

we can’t judge a persons salvation. Your correct. But we can see what their faith is in.

If their faith is in Jesus alone as Savior, and they believe He rose from the dead, definitionally, they're saved.

So what about those who place their faith in their deeds, There religion, Their traditions of their church?

The people in these churches face some tough times and tribulation in making decisions. Let us pray for them that they make GOD'LY bible based decisions.

It is the easy way to stick with mans traditions and what they have known all their lives. Leaving the familiar seems to be much like a divorce.

I'd question their salvation. But, if a person worships in a Catholic Church, but ultimately knows that Jesus is the only righteousness they can have, I believe they're saved.
