The United Nations voted today to recognize a Palestinian state. The resolution was approved by a more than two-thirds majority.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure.
Psalm 102:14 For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity
Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Jerusalem needs our prayers for peace now more than ever. It seems like the
SECULAR state of Israel is plotting to set up the arab and western nations
against each other to secure its own survival. That secular state has nothing
in common with the kingdom of David and Salomon, that Golden Age of Israel and
Judah. It may primarily be inhabited by jews, but most of them don't believe in
God anymore and live a sinful lifestyle; just look at the Gay Pride in Tel Aviv
for instance. For Israel power is all that matters now, power to subdue its arab
neighbours and power to influence its western allies. We need to pray that all who
love Jerusalem, that City of Peace, be secure, whether it be muslim, jew or
christian and that all will ultimatily acknowledge Jesus as Prince of
Peace.

Praise God, his word is true so they won't be completely destroyed, no matter how many enemies rise up against them. Peace be upon Israel..............and salvation for the Arabs as well, it's not God's will that ay showuld perish!

Romans 11:1, 25-32
1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means!

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Lets hope this is not what Jesus was referring to when he was talking about the end of the age..

"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near." (Luke 21:20 NASB)

Israel is in the palm of God's hand. He will protect them, as he promised to do. Everything that's happening involving Israel and Palestine lines up with prophecy and just shows me that the return of Christ to take up His bride, is close at hand.

To me it shows that since it does line up with end time prophecy, that we should soon be able to identify the antichrist, go into the trib/be raptured etc, all of end time LITERALLY fulfilled. It's not a parable.
