ooooh.... wow, you really showed me, didn't you?

I have never seen or heard of Kroger publicly endorsing that lifestyle. If they choose to be ok with queer employees, fine. When they come out publicly promoting a queer lifestyle, I will find somewhere else to shop.

Nearly ALL stores are going to be "ok" with the queer lifestyle, because it's against the law to publicly NOT be ok with it.

There's a big difference in being publicly ok with it, and actively promoting it.

In any case, just what IS your point? Are you trying to shame me into celebrating a queer lifestyle? It ain't gonna happen, so find someone else to browbeat.

And you can come off your high horse about your family sensitivities... I have 2 grandkids and 3 or so nieces that are into the queer life. That does not make me "ok" with it, as you so apparently are.
Christians should never be ok with it.
That does not mean that you shun or disown anybody, but you don't have to celebrate it to show how "woke" you are. The Word is pretty clear about the right/wrong aspects of that lifestyle.

Sons of God' in the OT always pertained to angels.

Men were not to be called sons of God until later after the Church age began.
That is one reason we have been designated to be called 'a new creation in Christ.'
So, Genez considers Lucifer to be among those considered as the "Sons of God that came to present themselves before the LORD"? And, Job was not among them, right? Job was just a topic in discussion among them then.

So, I'm the naive and scared 'they' that purportedly "find ways to avoid its (whatever it really is) true meaning."

As I see it, there are three parties in Job 1:6, the sons of God (those who came before the Lord), God (the Lord), and also Satan (who was among them. I consider Job as one of the sons of God, who did not fall of course as he kept one wife, even though she was a well, whatever you think of her, she was Job's one and only so, he did not fall in the sense of taking all the women he wanted.
And Job 38:7 also calls them morning stars that sang together, which sounds a whole lot to me like coming before the Lord and shouting for joy. That is, morning stars are the first spotted as to rise from the horizon, the literal as much as the figurative foundation of the earth.

The point is, pretty much every large corporation has done something for Pride month, Krogers included (the link shows they actually promote Pride month), so if one is going to say "I refuse to shop at any store that promotes or supports LGBTQ pride", your choices are extremely limited (probably just mom and pop stores).

And for me, the odd thing is how some of us Christians don't make decisions on where to shop (or not) based on other sins, including ones Christ spoke at length about, such as greed and love of money.

That sort of thing can make us seem rather hypocritical, so it's something to think and pray about.

That's odd.... I've never seen a store actively endorse/promote/glamorize a greedy, love of money lifestyle. I've never seen a store actively promote/endorse/glamorize a drunken, drug addicted lifestyle.... or an out of control gambling lifestyle, or a sexually promiscuous lifestyle....

And that is the point. NO store is going to actively stand up and say "We wholeheartedly suggest YOU live a sinful lifestyle, and we will publicly celebrate your doing so!"

And yes, I've thought about it and prayed about it.

Yes....

Satan (still as Lucifer) was one of the original morning stars singing in Job 38.
Morning stars were angels that were designated by God to be light bearers.
For, Lucifer means 'bearer of light!' He was originally a morning star!

To what were its foundations fastened?
Or who laid its cornerstone,
When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38:6-7

God created 'races' of angels! Morning stars and sons of God, are races of angels.
Race is not something just for mankind.

Really? Maybe you're not looking as closely as you are for LGBTQ stuff?

I don't know, I've seen lots of promotion of sex, drinking, gambling, and getting rich from various companies.

And yes, I've thought about it and prayed about it.
Great!

The Greek and Roman speak of similar tales.

The fine line between truth and reality is adjusted by a tuning in perception.
A One , anda Two, anda Three!
Little Miss Huffy...
Sat on her tuffy...
Wondering what to say...
Along came a spider...
Decided to bite her..
And she threw the whole bowl away.

I don't waste my time "looking" for queer lifestyle stuff.... which is why, when I DO notice it, it's become offensively promotional... and I won't deal with companies that do that.

It would be interesting to see examples of a mainstream company that actively promotes a sinful lifestyle... of any kind. And "drinking" is not a sin, in case you were not aware...

That's okay, I appreciate our discussion. It's certainly interesting to be a Bible believing Christian in today's secular culture.
