Mean: (mean) m-e-a-n; as in, "What did you mean?" Mean = Purposefully saying or doing something to hurt someone once (or maybe twice). The main distinction between “rude” and “mean” behavior has to do with intention; while rudeness is often unintentional, mean behavior very much aims to hurt or depreciate someone. (Huffington Post, Nov. 26, 2012). I think there's another definition: Saying something while not knowing it will offend someone because of a culture or language, or even hearing something wrong, or misinterpreting it. Or not saying or doing something knowingly or not, that causes someone to despair, even of life. One word or action offered or withheld, can save someone or passing them by can cause their death. I was quoting the lady on the radio show-- I'm still trying to find her name...
I don't allow liberal rags to indoctrinate me on how easily offended liberals, leftists and the politically correct are, and how I should succumb to their whims as to not offend. In other words I don't care what huff post says.
I also don't allow truth compromisers, especially those truth compromisers who misuse the Bible, or don't use it enough to tell me what is harsh and what is not, especially in light of the many who have died for defending truth, died for standing upon the truth, died for not compromising and were called ugly and mean by others.
Those who don't know the Bible, who rarely quote the Bible, use it out of context, compromise truth by apologizing for it and for those who don't need to repent of their apostate mindset and let those who stand unashamedly on truth do so. We have too many cowards these days who think truth is ugly and compromise is peace and love.
They're politically correct, not necessarily Christian. And yes, people confuse and conflate the two, one is not the other.
This makes me more sick than watching that unnamed president we had go around and apologize to countries for our country. He was and is a political coward.
We don't need "Christian" cowards apologizing for truth, and we don't need some woman on the radio telling us what mean means to her and then applying it to others she doesn't like.
Certainly Paul, Christ, the other apostles, and prophets would have come under her indictment as well.
