She didn't simply die. She was murdered by an illegal. The president has not acknowledged her in any way, until he was forced to and then messed up her name.

Nothing can be done not to help her, her fate is sealed.

We should be doing something to prevents future deaths

None of them let thousands upon thousands invade the country. If you don't think this will bring the country to it's knees you're extremely naive.
There are other things worse than that that has damaged the country.

I think the red states need to form their own country

We'll need help from other countries, so we need to start working on that now.

Maybe putin can sell us a few tactical nukes!

Possibly, because of his weakening mind, his true self is beginning to manifest itself?

(just saying)

Saying people's names after they have died doesn't do anything.

Neither does lighting candles or moments of silence.

I suppose it's nice to do those things to help their family feel a little better but in reality it does nothing for the deceased person since they've already reached their eternal destination and nothing will change that
That was not the point of saying her name.

Carter destroyed our country

Yet we're still here

Clinton destroyed our country

Yet we're still here

Obummer destroyed our country

Yet we're still here

Biden is destroying our country

Yet we'll still be here

Hyperbole, and those who ply it on weak minds, is what's really going to destroy our country
How long did it take for Rome to be destroyed?

Your argument is weak.

Just saying, trying to do things to make people feel good doesn't help the deceased as some are led to believe

I even heard some that claim to be Christians asking for prayer for a friend or loved on that just died.

After someone dies, no further prayer for them is needed because their fate is sealed at that point.

Unless one is catholic, which in that case they think they can run down to the dude wearing the collar and pay him a bunch of money and says a few hail marys and get their loved one out of purgatory none of which is true or biblical.

The compassion should be shown to people while they are alive by people witnessing to them with a call to action telling them they must believe and receive Jesus as their Lord and turn from their sin.

When they are still alive is the time to go have compassion by witnessing to them!

It's too bad that most people aren't nice to others until they die and they say nice stuff about them at their funeral.
I think you missed the whole point of the OP.

I do not think this compairs to those times.

We were not divided then as we are now.. Plus the open borders policy is letting our enemy in.

There's no point in saying their name.

Many msm networks refuse to air this absolutely true ad. Please share:

https://x.com/RickyDoggin/status/1766999673586217120?s=20

Of course they refuse to run the ad, it makes biden look bad and incompetent.

Sadly, they put politics above the people

It stinks, a foul decrepit stink in the nostrils of God. Can't see how much longer The Holy Spirit and the saints can restrain the judgement of the Lord from falling on this nation.

Judgement has already started.

There's no point in saying their name.

They said this name, George Floyd, who was a drug addict, and a criminal. They felt his death was unjust. How much more so for Lakin Riely? She was doing her daily jog and was murdered for it. Yes, there is a point in saying her name. Because she was innocent and an illegal male took her life. And the media and radical liberals are more upset that the president mislabeled a murderer than messing up the name of an innocent young nursing student. That is why saying her name is important. Because she was innocent, she was murdered by an illegal and if we can say George Floyds name we dang well ought to say hers!!

Judgement has already started.
What we are seeing in Haiti with cannibalistic gangs, that will come here, when the Lord's hand of judgment hits the US it will break into pieces, and everyone on this planet will know that the Lord is coming.

Right, I should have just asked him why directly. So Seed what part of the post do you disagree with so strongly?
I should have left a thumbs down Instead of a red x because of the hypocrisy of noticing the things that Biden does wrong but excusing the things that Trump does wrong.

So your answer to a murdered young woman by an illegal that Biden allowed into the country is "whataboutism"? Are you serious right now?! I don't care about the x I care about the fact that you don't see what Biden is doing is dangerous. But I guess you don't have to care, you're a man and figure you can defend yourself. But surely you have women somewhere in your family that you care about.

The "Ole What aboutism" argument.

So let me make sure I understand. This man is in the country because of Biden's policies, he is out of prison because of Biden's policies, we knew he was a dangerous felon but Biden's policies require that he is free to go murder people but it is hypocritical that we don't also mention that BTW Trump used to have some mean tweets about Rosie. Got it.

There's no point in saying their name.

Let me spell it out for you.
Some people, even a few on this very chat board think it is inconsequential that people are entering the country illegally.

By saying her name she will be remembered, how she died will be remembered, who killed her and his illegal entry status will be remembered.
So yes there is a point!

Her name and the circumstances of her death can be a catalyst for change, it can bring awareness, create moral outrage so that hopefully corruption can be voted out of office.

hopefully, those things you said will come to pass, and her death will not be in vain...
