I don't know how their constitution works but America has an amendment clause which basically States all laws must have a secular purpose. Meaning you don't get to pass laws that favor anyone religion or laws that are against anyone religion
There's really not much reason to make same-sex marriage illegal other than religious reasons which is irrelevant when it comes to legislation
Dude, do you know Europe?

In the western part you see almost every country with sodomarriages, but as soon as you cross the line in the center, you see countries, SECULAR countries constitutionally defining marriage as an union between a man and a woman.

Can two men produce a child? Can two women produce a child?

So, try better next time.

Yeah we already have enough people on the planet and not everyone is interested in having children.
Also gay people are still gay regardless if they're married so I don't see why they even matters
Europe has the wrong problems right now, as they are headed towards being Saudi Arabia minus the sand in the next 50 to 100 years but I guess that's another topic

This country was founded on escaping a theocratic monarchy. Do you think we should of stayed under king rule? Do you believe we should not of rebelled?
"this country"

The OP was about Slovenia. Perhaps there is a world outside the USA eh?

Imagine someone walked into the public library asking to use a computer and the librarian said no sorry you can't use the computer because you're gay
But the gay man's tax dollars pay to maintain the library and pay the librarian salaries so why shouldn't he be allowed to use a taxpayer funded computer?
It makes no sense to deny them marriage license is for the same reason.
Their tax dollars maintain the courthouse and pay the clerk's salaries so they should be allowed the same privileges as any other tax paying citizen
