“None of the things he did since he had it have helped us a bit, and, if anything, would fly in the face of it," she said, noting that the president took his mask off as soon as he returned to the White House. “All he did was continue to show people that the things we are saying to do are overblown and an overreaction. As a physician, it is so dang frustrating."

People are misinformed about this situation. Trump is literally quarantined basically at the White House. Anyone to come in his presence will have all the medical gear on.

But as people calling it a hoax well no leader has said that.

You have people who believe the Holocaust never happened and 9/11 was a hoax so of course, you will have these people. But I do not see them being a large percentage.

Back in March, a poll was done.

And a majority of Republicans — 54% — said the response to the coronavirus is overblown. 40% said it was a real threat. 6% unsure.

Independents saw the coronavirus as a real threat. Fifty percent of them view it as such then compared with 64% of independents in February who said the virus was legitimately threatening. 41% Blown out of proportion
9% unsure

Democrats remained the most unchanged on this question. An increasing number of them — 76% — said the danger of the coronavirus is real, up from 70% in February 2020.
20% Blown out of proportion
4% unsure

So maybe the blown out of proportion crowd may include those who call it a hoax but I bet it is smaller because I believe it is blown out of proportion but equally believe it to be real.

As for personal experience, I have yet to hear someone flat out say it isn't real.

As for people deny or demanding certain treatments, well I couldn't blame them as so much about this virus was unknown, experts disagreed over treatments, and the media bias made truth hard to find.

There's always a counter report isn't there.

Study of UK key workers shows around half who had COVID-19 symptoms probably did not have the disease
EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES

At least as far as America goes, we know that the numbers reported as pertains to those who died of Covid 19 aren't to be trusted. We also know the positive test numbers aren't either.
Wherein do we put our trust when we can't trust those areas of Covid 19 statistics?
What of the inconsistency in closures verses that policy which allows others to open?
Churches have to limit seating to 50 persons. While theaters and casinos in that same state are allowed to open at half capacity.

Supreme Court denies Nevada church's appeal of attendance restriction amid coronavirus pandemic
‘In Nevada, it seems, it is better to be in entertainment than religion,' Justice Gorsuch says
The Supreme Court on Friday denied an appeal by a Nevada church to allow additional worshipers to join in-person services based on capacity amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Nevada has placed a 50-person cap on all places of worship, no matter the capacity of the building, as a part of the state's coronavirus restrictions.

But casinos, along with other businesses such as restaurants and movie theaters, may permit up to 50 percent capacity, allowing casinos to grant access to hundreds of patrons at a time.

Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh all issued dissenting opinions rejecting the constitutionality of the decision.

Meh. All they have to do is isolate the virus and demonstrate that it causes the symptoms they say it does. If it really existed, wouldn't be hard to do. As it hasn't been done, the only logical explanation one has is that there is no virus that causes the symptoms claimed. That's science, whether you're a doctor, a nurse, or a "front-line" medical worker. Anything else is supporting the scamdemic.
