Is the European Union Parliament the resurrection of Babylon?
from the design of the parliament building based on the Tower of Babel to the mother and child imagery, the words of the Anthem and even the statue of the whore riding the beast in the grounds outside.....how many more signs do we need.....Oh yeah, the corrupt laws and denial of Christ's sovereignty........BABYLON.

Short answer..no

Long answer...23 years of study, 20 hours straight to present truth in context from 14 chapters of the bible out of 7 or 8 books and a 10.5 billion to one of which nation represents the daughter of Babylon and her chief city, Babylon A.D. and where the kings of the earth meet!

I.E> the HINDERMOST of THE NATIONS

Rev 11v8, 14v8 (KJV), (or Rev 17v4,5), 17v18:

Babylon, "the city, the great one" (two definite articles in the orignal Greek), which is also called a harlot, Sodom and Egypt is:

"Jerusalem"

For it is the place "where also our Lord was crucified."

It is true the EU has lots of curious imagery and symbolism, I do not perceive them as the Whore of Babylon or any of that sort. While the EU does hold much power indeed, there are a lot of significant problems with the EU too, and these problems have only increased in this decade. Though more nations have subscribed to the EU, keep in mind the actual power of the EU has dimished quite a bit due to the financial crises and also politically/diplomatically with the standoff in Ukraine.

I think therefore that the EU runs a greater risk of totally collapsing within the century rather than rising to be the most powerful Empire.

EDIT: Plus looking at European History and modern politics, the European Union is only loosely united. The countries in the EU still retain their own sovereignty ultimately, and I doubt very much that all of the various cultural conflicts between European nations will disappear anytime soon.

Where do the World council of Churches meet? Where is more gold/silver and copper traded every day than the rest of the world put together?

There is only ONE place where the Lord Jesus was crucified...and that's

Jerusalem!

There now that was easy, wasn't it!
