I have shared a number of links that show the greatest depression has already hit China, and is just starting to cause a collapse in Russia. The reason so many countries have fled from the dollar to BRICS is because of the inflation they have because of our policies.
Yesterday Yellen said it wasn't theft for them to take the interest that Russia earns on their US bonds and to give that to Ukraine because of some double speak nonsense I didn't understand and would not be able to repeat. I would argue that the Petrodollar is gone since Saudi Arabia has agreed to sell oil in the PetroYuan. This action by Yellen yesterday is going to accelerate the demise of the US dollar as a reserve currency. No one is going to be buying US bonds if the US gets to decide who to give the interest to.
As for the US we are primed, the stage is set. Purchasing power has decreased by 28% since Biden became president (I am using gold as a standard of value). That took place prior to the end of the Petrodollar. With AI we are told that robots will take 100 million jobs which I assume was only referring to the first world. That is over 20% of the jobs. We are also told that ChatGPT5 is AGI and thus will be able to do 80% of white collar jobs. This is an election year and they have done everything they possibly can to delay the inevitable so as not to obliterate any chance that Biden has, but already the odds makers are saying the odds are between 2:1 and 4:1 that Trump wins. I think this attempt to delay the inevitable is only going to make the collapse all the more catastrophic. I also believe it will take place prior to the election in November.
Personally it is always much harder to say "when" than "what" or "why". How is a better question, more challenging than what but not as difficult as when. I think we will have a black swan event, and I use that term loosely. I would prefer the use of the term "fig leaf event". Some event where they can claim "no one could have predicted this" giving people like Yellen and Biden and Trump a fig leaf. The reality is that the world's economy is a giant jenga tower that is primed for the Lord to pull out that one block causing the whole thing to collapse.
I also believe the collapse of the world's economy is what causes everyone to run into the arms of the Antichrist and agree to draconian rules of the mark of the beast. It is the "greatest" depression that sets the stage for him to take power. He comes to power when three horns are broken off and I believe those three are: the US, Russia and China. Compared to those three horns he will be seen as "the little horn".
The only two "prophecies" that I can look at concerning "when" would be Dumitru Duduman, if you view him as a Jonah like prophet who gave the US a 40 year warning before destruction that would take you to July of 2024, 40 years after he was "spit up" onto the US shore. The other prophecy is the Alpha and Omega eclipses. The first one in August of 2017 went over seven cities named Salem. If you interpret that as seven years of peace then that would expire in August of 2024.

pattern is prophecy. The crucifixion of Jesus, one third of the triune God is one bookend to this age and the 3 1/2 year Great tribulation is the other bookend that concludes with one third of those on earth dying. Jesus' ministry was 3 1/2 years and then His crucifixion. The age ends with the two witnesses dying and then 3 1/2 years of the wrath of God being poured out followed by Armageddon.
That would be the mirror image of the "baptism" of Jesus and death of John at the start of the ministry, and pouring out the wrath as the photographic negative of the preaching of the gospel of grace. Right before the crucifixion you have Jesus flipping the tables of the money changers. I suspect that is what prompts the war of Armageddon.
Then prior to this there is a 3 1/2 year ministry called "the tribulation", or the first half of the 70th week or the ministry of the two olive trees. It is similar to the book of Acts with the ministry of Peter and Paul. This book begins with the ascension of Jesus, the mirror image of that would be the rapture. Those left behind spend 50 days in the upper room praying and then begin their tribulation ministry with the feast of New Wine and the Spirit being poured out on the Earth. This is when persecution is unleashed on the church with people being imprisoned for speaking in the name of Jesus and being beheaded. It also begins with Peter saying "silver and gold have I none" and beggars in the street and the entire church having to share what they have in common. It also begins with the believers having to deal with the aftermath of the apostasy of Judas.
