None issue concerning if there is prophets there today.
God made a promise to the descendants of Abraham to give them the land and if He does not honor that promise that would make Him a liar which cannot happen. It's sad that some claiming to be Christian know so little about the Lord to accuse Him of being a liar and no longer supporting the descendants of Abraham as He promised.
Just like others times in the history of Israel, they were being disobedient to the Lord so the Lord allowed them to be taken over by their enemies. The same thing is happening to the US right now and for the same reason.
God's Word foretold that the state of Israel would re-emerge as a nation and that happened in 1948 even though those with a spirit of anti-christ continue to talk trash about God's people coming back to the land which they do in opposition to the will of God.

Yes, alas there is no point. I think we saw this on the previous thread, people just buying media propaganda ... "40 dead babies" not even giving time to check the veracity ... funny how we can trust the New York Times all of sudden.
I so agree with the larger point you have made again and again, can we state an organization is respectable when they work to defend a man who was accused by 20 women/children, many of whom left the pencil factory because of his behaviour of sexual impropriety.
So even if we put aside the murder and rape of Mary Phagan, there are signed affidavits (when affidavits actually meant something) by so many other woman, were all 20 women were lying?!!
How does any reputable organization defend such a person/situation.
I see sympathy for the man who was hanged, how about the poor girl and her family who had justice and then it was stolen from them because of pulling the strings behind the scenes.
Make no mistake these were rich socialites who had moved down from the north they were not without influence.

No not unconditional. Everlasting? Yes. But never unconditional.
If it were unconditional, then their sin wouldn't have caused them to be expelled from the land each time. And if sin caused them to be expelled, that is a condition. Only obedience is the route back into the land for them because those were the terms of their everlasting covenant: to obey what He says for all their generations.
Leviticus 26:14
But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands, 15and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,...
(26:18) If after all this you will not listen to me...
(26:21) If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me...
(26:23) If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me...

Israel must turn back to the living God with all their hearts while scattered among the nations, and only then will He regather them in fulfillment of Romans 11.
Meanwhile, the people currently in the land are predominantly atheists, never mind not believing in the Messiah. Also, Tel Aviv is the 2nd LGBT capital of the world. And their military is currently killing innocent women and children, as it's one of the things that He calls an abomination per Proverbs 6:16-19:
- Haughty eyes
- A lying tongue
- Hands that shed innocent blood
- A heart that devises wicked schemes
- Feet that are swift in running to mischief
- A false witness who utters lies
- One who spreads strife among brothers

So if a group calling themselves Israel is back in the land acting utterly evil, it means one of three things:
a) God doesn't keep His word
b) All this "bible stuff" is fake.
c) The people currently in the land are not descendants of those who ever covenanted with The Father and so aren't held to any conditions for being there, which means the children of Israel are still scattered in judgment. The land is still Israel's but until they are obedient they will not return to repossess it.
He's not going to allow Israel to be abominable and sinful and unbelieving just to acquire the land because that would void all the rest of His word.
Instead, remember that there was ALWAYS another group that wanted the land and the birthright of Israel, and whenever Israel was in judgment they swooped right in to claim it as theirs; the only group of people from whom God said He hates. It was this group that was prophesied to claim the land and property during Israel's time of punishment in Ezekiel 35 and 36.

Exactly, and I would figure no one would understand that more than you. Israel is surrounded by enemies on all sides. Israel sits on 2% of the land in the ME and they would even allow them to have that bit of land in peace! And now America is turning against their only ally in the ME.
