The Pew Research Center recently explored Hispanic views about the role of government. Seventy-five percent of Hispanics (the largest immigrant demographic) want “a bigger government providing more services,” while only 19% prefer “a smaller government providing fewer services.”
Forget about the $18 trillion national debt and the skyrocketing interest payments that are about to come due on it forcing the U.S. government to pay more to creditors than it spends on national defense. Forget about all that. Borrow more. Give us MORE government money say 75% of Hispanics in the U.S..
Among Asians (the second-largest group of immigrants today) the result was 55% favoring big government to 36% favoring smaller.
According to Census data, 43 percent of immigrants who have been in the U.S. for more than 20 years are using welfare benefits. Fifty-seven percent of households headed by Mexican immigrants are on some form of welfare. Compare that with only 6% of immigrants from the United Kingdom being on some form of welfare.
What happens when the car crashes and no more money can be borrowed to hand out in welfare for votes? What happens then?

Obviously a Greek tragedy is the ultimate result; however, I wonder though what they will do after they figure out that rioting cannot change anything. Will they simply cross our southern border revealing that their allegiance to this country always was rooted in what it could offer them monetarily as an atm machine (while it lasted) or will they wake up and show that deep down they have the right stuff and rise to the occasion beginning what by then will be a painful process of educating themselves to implement the necessary sacrifices and reforms toward restoration?
It could go either way in my opinion, but right now it's clear they are presently bent on driving the car into a brick wall pedal-to-the-medal and the liberal politicians they vote for are going to oblige them.

I could never understand why the Black caucus in the DC beltway was expending so much energy trying to increase immigration and seek amnesty in what for Blacks is the worst domestic labor market since the Great Depression.
If I was an African American politician, my two highest priorities would be the repair of the nuclear family and job creation for African American communities... two things I wholeheartedly support 100% as a Caucasian.
I still don't really understand the dynamics behind the Black caucus pushing homosexuality, neglecting the nuclear family, working hard for more immigration and amnesty, and neglecting job creation for the private sector. It's self-defeating. It's counter-productive. I can't follow their logic, if there is any.
