That's the advantge of our somewhat high taxes in Norway:
If your meds cost more than <some sum I don't know> per year, the remaining medicines that year is for free (This is prescription meds of course). In Scotland it's even better, all prescription meds are free. Dunno how they do it. I think Norway is richer than Scotland .... I guess we spend too much on other nonsense :p

Yes. By paying taxes
I'd rather pay taxes than die because I don't have a medical insurance that covers expensive meds like you seem to need in the US

That may work in Norway where you have a population that numbers less than the state of Maryland, but we have 320 million people here. That is a lot of money we don't have. Oh and before you say we spend too much on the military in the U.S, Norway and every other country in Europe depends on our military for protection.
