Jenny, What type of healthcare system does Norway have? Would you recommend it to the US? Would your parents?

I'm not sure. There are pros and cons. If I was real poor I would recommend it, but if I was wealthy I might would not. My folks probably wouldn't because they have never been living in Norway and aren't used to the system over here.

Thanks. How does the average Norwegian feel about the system? I always had employer provided healthcare until I reached 65. Then I received Medicare. Given a choice of the two, I prefer Medicare.

Well, I don't know the Norwegian system that well, but I'd guess they approve. They are sort of used to that system.
