I'm sure Trump, like other politicians has used foul language. I don't like it, but first off, at least on this occasion, I couldn't find what you have posted ANYWHERE, except sky news. Sky news!? Really? Just wondering what your motive is here with this.

Here's the guy you accuse the President of calling a name, using the F-bomb on tv. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v...o_latest_texas_shooting_this_is_fcked_up.html

According to the media THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that is wrong with the Democrats, the Leftists, Communists, Socialists, Fascists, Anarchists, and MS-13 Gangsters in America.

Indeed they are even praising the demonic leader of ISIS (who was wiped out) as though he is some kind of hero! The perversion of the truth is simply appalling today, and there are not enough good men in public office who are coming out strongly against this.

I wonder what politicians were like before the "hot mic."

This isn't the hot mic situation. This was a live rally. And there should be no issue as pertains to Trump's remarks about Beto O'Rourke. Who was mean and nasty as a Democrat hopeful on the campaign trail, and who was quite candid on a talk show as pertains to a DUI arrest, something Trump has never had because he does not imbibe, while hoping to get the nod to run against president Trump on the 2020 ticket.
"Bastard", isn't at issue either since it is in scripture.
However, if swear words are an issue, since we're presumed mostly all adults here, don't forget Beto's use of the "F" word on the trail. And he later promised he'd swear off on using that word in public in future. In public.....in future?

Don't forget, "scholar". Everything but the truth of his being a murdering, rapist, terrorist.
Thank God for the four pawed hero's in this effort. A Delta Force dog, name withheld, is responsible for Baghdadi being discovered and neutralized. He was wounded in the fight but is recovering, thank God.

Why do so many conservative Christians support him then?

Is it the perception that Trump is bad, but the Dems are really really bad?

I like to remember this
Ephesians 4: 29. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

I don't know where Trump stands in his relationship with God. I think he may have some heart knowledge, but it hasn't reached his heart yet. JMO So I'm not judging him as an evangelical Christian, I think till he came into office he had little knowledge of what evangelicals were. Now he knows. His VP is evangelical as is Pompeo. Maybe God brought him to this place for a reason, I don't know. But as long as he stands against abortion, socialism and for Christian rights and backs Israel, he has my vote.

I think is part of our sinful nature to seek to belong to and or join a tribe. Many fail to recognize the lesser of two evils is still evil. We are to be in the world but not of the world. Why join a side if both sides are wrong. The Trumpsters can't see that greed is idolatry and that we are the stewards of the planet God entrusted us with. While those preaching freedom of choice can't see or admit Homosexual behavior and abortions and not acceptable either and that child sacrifice is an abomination to the Lord.

We can pray for our leaders without joining sides. There is only one correct side, Gods side!
Actually, that's a great thing to remember
1 Timothy 2: 1. I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: 2. for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

Just keep in mind that ALL THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA are out to get Trump (regardless of what he does).

But what is worse -- using an occasional profanity or treason, sedition, a coup, and a Witch Hunt against a legally and duly President (which are all crimes)?

You will not find BBC or any of the other major networks exposing the lies, hypocrisy, and hatred of the Left against Trump, since they are all a part of that evil conspiracy.
That's an interesting situation. If most people are believing lots of things that are not true, how will the republic continue to function?

I might make a thread about that in the future.

it amazes me how people can make an issue out of a burp or in this case a word that...gasp gasp...has never been heard before, while passing over the constant lying the left does

by all means, vote for abortionists and crime syndicates and communists then (sarcasim)

we have to have another year of this? o_O

I was reading this morning and I read this

Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.”
Romans 12:20

And something occurred to me, we cannot do this in purity if we are running around criticising our enemies, acting and thinking like the world. We need to act and think differently.

Yep! Fun, fun! Snowflakes!

You know what happens to snowflakes when things get hot.
The leftist media knowing that Evangelicals were a large part of the vote that elected Trump in 2016 went after him not long ago. They tried to say he took the Lord's name in vain when he said, G-damnit, during a speech about, as I recall, terrorists.
That would be true, taking the Lord's name in vain, if God's name were, "God".
But it's not.
I want to see what happens when, optimistic Republican here, not only Trump takes the office for a second term, which I do full on believe will happen. Look at the "competition". There are none. And also, the Republicans take majority in both House and Senate.
 Then, he can get a lot more done in the four years he has left. And with less push back from anti-America Seditionists in office.

Have you read the Old Testament?

the leftist media have absolutely no consideration for Evangelicals and could care less about God no matter what someone may use for His name

I would like to see the insane promises made about health care etc attempted to be enacted should the unthinkable happen

especially the part about taking everyone's fire arms and taking your money you worked for and already pay taxes on, and giving it to people who think you owe it to them

heard an interview this am from a homeless person in Austin cause the state is cracking down...when asked why he wants to live where he remarked about parties...I don't rememebr what else he said, but something just as revealing as that

these same people would loot and murder and whatever else if the government fell and it was everyone for themself

we are seeing the actual downfall of this country in not quite slow mo

I usually don't have the mental capacity to read between the lines, please be clearer on what you're trying to convey.
Certainly.

First, we would have to agree on the character of God, as pertains to my question in reply to that, have you read the Old Testament.
Do you agree God does not change?

For brevity: If you do, then perhaps as pertains to your remarks in this thread concerning how we should act toward our enemies, you might consider how God , who does not change (again, presuming you agree with that which is written in scripture to that effect), treated His enemies.

Are we then to assume a higher degree of morality toward our enemies, especially that which is antithetical to Christ, Islam, than God in the Old Testament?

I still have no idea what you're asking.
We were all His enemy, how did He treat you and me?

Within the context of this thread, I was somewhat addressing the us vs them mentality within the political belief system between people. I often see the people of God, carrying the same attitudes in regards to politics than those of the world. How are we, meant to treat someone, who is an enemy, with love, if we are constantly berating them for the views they hold? They will never accept our testimony.
Perhaps I should have been clearer about that originally.

The US president used profanity. Oh no... he's human!

While I agree that it is inappropriate for him to use profanity, the c**p that he has had to endure would have driven me to do so a long time ago. The double standards are unbelievable.
==========================================================
I'm surprised at you Dino, it sounds like you would consider compromising your Christian Standards under duress...?
