Yup...the media is in the tank for Hillary. Trump fell for the trap Hillary set with the Kahn man. I think he will learn from it. He needs to stay on message and talk about the losers that Hillary and Obama both are.

I can't think of anything I would enjoy more than coming here the day after the election and saying I got it all wrong and that Hillary defied polls and experts and lost, that's how awful a person and awful a candidate she is. She needs maybe one out of ten swing states to win and possible won't need that if she takes Florida and yet she may find a way to hand this to Trump. How sweat would that be?

We shall see. I am cautiously optimistic and if one thing Trump has proven....it is foolish to underestimate him.

I don't think the con-man hurt him as much as some think ...yes some will be upset for a day or two ..but when they hear who this guy is ..and it sinks in what Hillary is ...it don't hurt Trump any ..and if more come out on this guy...it could help Trump.

Same deal when trump said ban muslims ...its seem to hurt him for a few days but in the long run he gained from it.

Godspeed Mitspa. Even the people who we have much in common with are attacking us for supporting Trump. Seems the deceitful bugger that satan is... doesn't want Trump to be president and is pulling out all the stops.

I watch Fox News in the afternoons. They reported today that a Fox poll had Hillary ahead of Trump by 10 points. Something else they mentioned was that Romney received over 90% of Republican votes, while Trump is polling at something like 74% support among republicans. That is a number he cannot win with and will likely use to blame republicans for sabotaging his campaign.

Hrmm... I'm not sure 30% is an accurate number, but what we do know is that there are more Democrats than Republicans. So, naturally, there will be a % more Democrats voting in a poll than Republicans. That is to be expected given the voting pool.

I agree. I think people are realizing that borders need to be secured and it is impossible to vet some Muslims from certain regions of the world. Of course, the left will spin it as he hates them and wants to ban them all permanently.

[h=1]Polls: Clinton leads Trump nationally, in key battleground

Polls: Clinton leads Trump nationally, in key battleground[/h]After the conclusion of the Democratic convention, Hillary Clinton is opening up her lead over Donald Trump by significant margins nationwide and in key battleground states, according to a new set of polls out Thursday.
In a national Fox News poll, Clinton has a 10-point advantage over Trump, 49 percent to 39 percent -- a jump from her six-point lead over the GOP nominee last month. Sixty-five percent of voters say Clinton is qualified to be president, compared to just 43 percent that believe the same of Trump.
In New Hampshire, a WBUR poll shows Clinton with a 15-point advantage over Trump, 47 percent to the GOP nominee's 32 percent. If Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green party candidate Jill Stein are taken out of the picture, Clinton's lead widens to 17 points. Democrats seem to be unifying behind Clinton, with at least 86 percent of the party saying they would support their candidate. Trump, meanwhile, only has the support of 63 percent of registered Republicans.
Poll: Hillary Clinton gets slight convention boost of her ownWhere do Trump and Clinton stand going into the general election?Did Trump get bump after GOP convention?Clinton's unfavorable ratings have also dropped, from 58 percent to 45 percent, with a corresponding 10 percent bump in her favorability. Forty-eight percent of likely New Hampshire voters believe Clinton is qualified to be president, while less than a third believe the same of Trump.
The Senate race also shows a Democratic lead, with New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan leading by 10 points in her race against incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte.
In Colorado, meanwhile, a Real Clear Politics average shows Clinton up by eight points, with 45 percent of support compared to Trump's 37 percent.
The Fox News poll surveyed 1,022 registered voters nationwide and was conducted from July 31 to August 2. The poll has a margin of three percentage points. The WBUR poll surveyed 609 likely voters in the 2016 General Election in New Hampshire from July 29 to August 1, 2016. The margin of error is four percentage points.

___________________________________________________________________________________

It's getting ugly for Trump. He could become a lead weight around the necks of republican candidates across the country. I suppose the argument could be made that with most of the other republican Presidential candidates, they would also lose to Hillary, but they might not have become the reason incumbent republicans lost their elections. I can hear republicans now, suggesting they were powerless to steer this in any other direction. We should expect Trump to lay into the republican leadership viscously after the election. That will likely lead to a mid-term election disaster for republicans. Time to seek out a really red state and move there to ride it out and wind down the clock. I'm guessing the democrats will smile as they distribute what would have been our social security benefits we were counting on.

This is somewhat what a major part of the Republican voters were asking for. By voting for Trump in the primaries they have singlehandedly created this situation. Now that they've got their puppy it's time to pick up the p**p...

Bush Institute founding director endorses Clinton

By Louis Nelson

08/22/16 07:30 PM EDT

Former President George W. Bush’s Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy is the latest high-ranking Republican to announce his support for Hillary Clinton’s White House bid.

James Glassman, who is also the founding director of the George W. Bush Institute at the former president’s library in Dallas, told MSNBC Monday evening that Clinton is “by far the superior candidate.”

“She has the experience. She’s got the character. She has the values,” Glassman said. “She is the kind of candidate I support and that, as I say, millions of republicans are supporting.”

Glassman joins a number of former Bush officials in backing Clinton. Former deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage and Lezlee Westine, a former aide to President Bush, have announced their support, as has former Bush State Dept. and NSC official Kori Schake..................
