This is kinda going against what the thread was originally was about, but I am going to say it anyways... A lot of discussion has occurred on here if Trump is a Christian. I do not know. I do know the Bible says we know by their fruits. But I know Christians that curse like sailors and drink, yet are also the most humble and know that if it weren't for Jesus, they'd be nothing.

I keep hearing things like "Trump is a baby Christian. Who are you to judge?". It is true we are to not judge. Look at the speck in our own eyes. However, let's say I keep wasting my money on food. At some point wouldn't I have to get it together with my finances, and start budgeting properly? If I were to live by that "Who are you to judge" policy with my finances, I would never get anywhere in life because I'd still be tripping over my feet the moment I took two steps.

At some point, a person has to stop making the same mistakes. If somebody commits crimes, does the person say "Who are you to judge?"? At some point, we gotta start learning from our mistakes. And the excuses have got to stop. Continuously making excuses for one's actions is called enabling.

So far,the faults against him will not stop me from voting for him.

Like you,I wish he were a committed christian, but he has stood up for pastors and such in his promises.
(like removing the "no politics from the pulpit" meter from off pastors)

The meaning behind my post wasn't necessarily about those voting for Trump. It was about those that seem to enable and make excuses for his actions (let's be honest. There are those kinds of people. Not necessarily here. But in the real world, not the CC world). Also the "it's between him and God" type comments. That statement is true. But again. It's between me and God how I decide to spend my money. I would like to think someone intervenes and helps me straighten up if I were spending it in a non Godly way. How does God work in people? By using other people.

And it is we do not like what he said ten years ago what matters is what he says now. I probably said some stupid things ten years ago too. But Carson and I still can see that Hillary is far worse

I Cannot Condone Donald Trump's Comments. But Let's Recognize What Progressives Are Doing Here.

Trump did the right thing and immediately releasing a video saying he is sorry and is not that same man. Ben Carson wants us to focus on the scheme the Democrats are playing. Do not be fooled.
the democrats' scheme was to leverage the media to manipulate the republican primary process so that trump would be nominated and clinton could beat him...

so says every republican's favorite source these days...wikileaks...

Let's face it. for the past fifteen years, cameras have be rolling everywhere. Most of the pictures and movies can be found on the www. Both the democrats and republicans have been gathering dirt on opposing candidates and will be using every single piece of dirt they can gather against his/her opponet. Sadly the candidate who digs up and uses the nastiest dirt that they can find will be our next president. Every time that either candidate and/or his/her flunkies speak, I want to flush the toilet. Nothing that comes out of either camp surprises me.

Trump says that he has never ask God for forgiveness nor repented for his sins. Questions? Is Trump saved or not saved?

not saved...anyone who claims otherwise and cries 'judge not' is in absolute denial of the obvious...this isn't even in question any more...

at this point you need to expand the scope of your question to include trump's voters...

I actually thought about that statement earlier... I guess Trump finally has something he should ask God for to forgive.

how much respect do you give Obama for his constitutional law degree, bro?

& which one has bankrupted several companies several times?
Obama has a law degree? I've seen no college transcripts. Have you? How many companies do you have. 7 out of 500 is a pretty good track record. Don't you think?

Carson's response is the type of response Christians that are voting for Trump should be having.

Whats that? Unforgiveness and condemnation even after repentance for something that happened 12 years ago?

John 6:44
King James Version(KJV)

44.)No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

That means Donald cannot be saved If he did not repent In TRUTH.

And sometimes what we condemn others for is the shadow that resides in us. I know enough people to know that there ain't a perfect one on planet earth. Unless you're a psychopath there is both good and bad aspects to everyone's character. And for the record, I think Hillary is a psychopath and trump is not.

You make good points. I don't know how any christian can defend Obama.
Unfortunately I don't see how Trump can win with the latest video out about him.
If not for that video, Trump would be the next president.

Seems a tall order when you have so many willing to burn him at the stake even after he issued a humble statement on the subject. But such is the current state of Christianity in America....still searching for that scapegoat. It's funny how we always eat our own.

As each day passes we strive to lower the bad aspects. There's always going to be that "yeah, but" connotation for every single human on this plane.t. The goal is to minimize it, though. That doesn't mean to make excuses for a person's behavior. If I'm wasting all of my money, confrontation towards me would be from someone that either was in a position similar as mine once, or it comes from a loved one (or a spouse, if I was married). Not saying anything at all is going the politically correct route. If everyone in this world just sat back and didn't say anything regarding someone's actions, that person would continue on in this life thinking those actions are okay.

I hear what you're saying but I don't just accept anyone to be my accountability partner. I gotta know you and like you before I'll let you speak into my life. Life makes a man the man he will ultimately be in the end anyway.
