Unmade bed worth £2.5 million

So just out of curiosity, I Googled "ridiculous paintings worth millions" and was subjected to numerous examples of, well... ridiculous looking art which sold for a whole lotta loot. I did see one that caught my eye because of its intriguing lines. It is a painting by Lucio Fontana that sold for $1.5 million. I’m not sure if Lucio actually painted the lines onto the canvas, or literally cut the lines into it. That was the only thing that interested me about the painting. I'd never buy that monstrosity.

I like it maybe 20 bucks worth.

On the other hand, for 20 bucks I think I could just make it myself.

Uncanny. I was honestly thinking pretty much the same thing. Only I would have forked out maybe $25 for it. Otherwise, like you said, I could make it myself. But of course, I'd sell it immediately for at least $50.
