Yeah, I saw this in the other thread. There is definitely proof of the thugs that stormed the capital being Antifa and legit Trump supporters.
Yes and the media has done its best to cover it up for the purposes of creating a false depiction of what happened and painting conservatives with the terrorist label while Antifa, BLM, the actual harmful groups, are passed over.

Apparently, other videos are surfacing which show Antifa leaders and their followers doing their thing. I will say that any so called conservative who followed them into the capital is just plain stupid and they have created problems for legit people.

There may have been some non-trump supporters in there, the majority were trump supporters. The right just don't want to accept it.

This shows video the who was behind the riot. Warning language and violence:

https://www.newyorker.com/news/video-dept/a-reporters-footage-from-inside-the-capitol-siege
I agree. I was open to seeing evidence that it was Antifa like many here and my own family strongly believe. When I saw the evidence, I can't put my head in the sand. I think what was more frustrating for me was that people were denying at least some of the thugs were indeed Trump supporters. There was more than enough evidence to show and prove legit Trump supporters did act like thugs and instead blamed Antifa.

My family and friends (most anyways) play the political party game where they defend their "team" no matter what. They rarely, if ever, acknowledge a criticism... The rare times they do, it's followed by "what-about'ism".... "What about the Democrats?!" "What about the Republicans?!"

Hopefully we all acknowledge that there were in fact legit Trump supporters who acted like thugs at the capitol and that there were some Antifa thugs who joined them in disguise. I don't care if someone is a proud Democrat or Republican, just strive to be objective.

There are always bad elements in every group, organization, party etc etc. Why can't you folks get it through your heads, that the vast majority of those who voted for Trump and would do so again, voted and would vote again because they do not want what is coming down the pipe with the Biden admin. You won't be liking it either.

Tell me, how could Trump really 'drain the swamp' when half of it are members of the Republican party holding office in the house and the senate? These people now stand against him and were never really for him.

Those who went into the Capital buildings are not actual Trump supporters. How is that? Trump has always spoken against that kind of violence and nothing in his speech indicated that is the action he expected of those people. There were already weapons caches on the ground BEFORE anyone at the speech headed towards the Capital for what they thought would be a peaceful demonstration.

The non-Antifa or terrorist element that went into the Capital are not the backbone of America and not the average supporter of President Donald J. Trump.

Trump has been vilified by the left with Pelosi leading the charge. That woman is detrimental to the Democrat party, never mind the Republicans!

If hate were a virtue, Pelosi would be recommended by the Pope for sainthood.

You are not going to like what is going to happen with regard to Biden's lack of intelligence and his desire to rub Trump off the map. If Biden had the actual desire to do what is good for the country, his first days in office would be better spent understanding what the effects of his penmanship on his executive orders, is going to create. Instead, he has orders to smush out Trump. His actions are not really his own. He is a weak, tired old man who really belongs at home and enjoying what is left of his life instead of fighting battles for socialists and communists.

You will see that.

This time they will be deploying national guard because they're anticipating more violence
Which itself is stupid. How much *violence* was there in reality? 4 dead and 14 injured. How does that compare with all the real violence of BLM and Antifa over a period of six months? And that too with the active encouragement of Democrats.

And since the *storming* of the capitol was preplanned, who other than the Democrats planned it (since the building is under their supervision)? The ones involved were BLM and Antifa activists pretending to be Trump supporters in order to carry out a false flag operation. BLM activist Sullivan exposed the plot after he was arrested. Then he was simply released as though he had been a plant all along.

I know I won't like it. On that point, I don't argue.

To be clear, I don't think the legit Trump supporters who decided to act like thugs at the capitol are a representation of all or even most of Trump supporters. However, my family and friends seek my opinions and beliefs when it comes to politics, and they were annoyed with me for not believing it was Antifa that did it. I told them I'm open to the prospect there were some Antifa thugs there, but there are confirmed legitimate Trump supporters who did it too. They didn't want to hear about the WV delegate who was arrested because it doesn't fit their narrative. When it comes to ANY other subject, my family and friends are more than rational and capable of being objective... but when it comes to politics, my pro-Trump family members are incapable of showing the same level of objectivity. It's one of the many reasons I broke away from the Republican party years ago and identify as a Libertarian. If I have to put my head in the sand to any politician in the Libertarian party, I'll leave too. I will criticize when it's warranted, even if it's the candidate I want.

I personally think they were a bunch of people who really do not stand for what was the Trump platform. That there were Antifa mixed in there is now no longer any doubt.

Believe it or not, I am Libertarian leaning also, but you might have noticed there are currently only 2 parties?

More than half of gov needs to go...probably only going to get bigger and the new admin will have to be handing our favors. As is, the so called Biden admin, looks like an Obama admin clone. I mean, really? Just more indication Biden is a weak puppet and a great servant.

I would be all over term limits, but those blood sucking leeches will never hear of it.

In fairness, I do not agree or align myself with Bernie Sanders on very many issues, but government wouldn't be as big of a problem as it is today if more politicians were as honest as he is.

We can disagree with his positions on issues, but he doesn't lie like the Republican and Democrats tend to do. They ask him, point blank, "Will taxes increase as a result of universal health care?" and he says, "Yes. Your taxes will increase but the net amount you pay would be less because you're not spending a fortune on subpar health care." The other left wing democrats that are pro universal health care lie and say "No, taxes will not increase" yet make no mention of how they expect to pay for it.

I'm just waiting for the conservative version of Bernie Sanders to run in 2024. Ben Shapiro is my guy but he has no interest in running for president. :(
health-care is an issue because three things

1. the welfare system
2. Illegal immigration
3. failure of unions who sold out to liberal democrats and GOP

Healthcare is an issue because people look at the rest of the free world and see that they have universal health care, and the USA, one of the richest countries in history, does not. They ask themselves why.

Universal healthcare is not an issue because of the unions, welfare, or illegal immigration. It is an issue because those who have healthcare don't care about those who don't have it.

How many of you have paid the doctor bills for someone who can't afford it? How many of you have lost everything that you own to pay for cancer treatment, or kidney failure, or heart surgery?

I say, do away with all the pet projects in the country, raise the medicare tax rate (above the minuscule amount we pay now), make sure that every one pays it, and provide medicare for everyone. We can do it and it won't hurt your pocket book as bad as naysayers claim it would.

I disagree. The problem is when one thinks Government provides lol the Government doesn't make money they take money. the issue is globalism and looking at demark and places like that and thinking it will word everywhere. They are different as we are to Mexico, Canada, New York is to Texas. the problem is really three things the created the issues I mentioned before. Cause and effect

1. the break down of the family which produced 1. the welfare system
2. the lawlessness and companies who used illegal aliens in the workforce 2. Illegal immigration
3. those who trusted man to get them something without working for it. 3. failure of unions who sold out to liberal democrats and GOP

How do you connect those items to universal healthcare? Exactly how will universal healthcare fail?

I'm not saying that you are wrong? I just don't see a connection.

good question first off the Family unit is very much more stable one husband and wife with children and have more wealth than divorce and single-family. Universal health-care has already failed if you look at countries like China, Russia, and Cuba. They control your life and even will punish you if you violate the rules. Those who are for universal health-care do not use the " China model, they use an unrealistic country that the United States could never do. it breeds corruption. The concept of universal health-care only works if you give up freedom. That in its self is demonic. Those like Bernie Sanders would not have the same kind of " universal health-care" they want us all to have. it is a lie. for it to work they will have to penalize you if

You are overweight, smoke, drink if you do not agree with their moral superiority. You will still work as much if not more yet you will pay even more in taxes.

Look at the AHC aka Obama care. many were not willing to work over 35 hours a week to ensure they would not lose qualification for medical coverage. If you can't work a 40 workweek and not get medical and have to tell your employer I can't work over 35 hours a week or you will lose your health-care, that is not affordable that is a lie. it is not universal health-care it is controlism.

I don't see how universal healthcare would have a negative impact on the family unit. In fact I see it adding stability to the family unit.

The US is the only country among the wealthiest countries without socialized healthcare. See how we rank in relationship to other countries.

https://www.pgpf.org/blog/2020/07/how-does-the-us-healthcare-system-compare-to-other-countries

Obamacare is not universal healthcare. It is more like Chinese healthcare. Those who need it most, have little or no access to it.

I can't make you see from history how socialism is demonic oh well.l if you are not understanding the action of Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong, and Fidel Castro who set up the socialist-communist system. Health-care doesn't bring stability to the family unit any more than welfare does.

regurgitating Democratic socialist talking points without knowing the facts is not going to work.

"The US is the only country among the wealthiest countries without socialized healthcare."

This talking point is a lie from the pit of hell. made by those who do not even live under what they have deceived so many with, to think it is good for them.

AOC, Bernie all Democrats, and all GOP do not have the same type of medical coverage ( socialism) they want you to have. If it was so good they would have it.

Russia and China have it just spend one day speaking to Christian from Russia or one from China or Cuba. YOu will hear from them.

But IF you are so set on it no this those who came here left more countries where they had "socialized health-care " for a JOB why?

because when you have the means to take care of your family the medical issues are much lower if they eat, sleep and have good shelter. Many people fight the flu and cold and other sicknesses without even using a doctor. FYI you can even read a book and do home deliveries like they done and still do. But you want to be controlled by the god of government because they will provide as they have in other places lol.
