I didn't know that. I have seen a Wal-mart I used to shop at sometimes, change from a nice place to shop to a place I do not want to shop anymore.

Once they get into the system, many act like it was their right, when it should be a privilege.
And, which Native American language would you like to begin learning???

I disagree on your stated version of the 'Biblical model'. If this were so, the Israelites would not have been welcome to continue their practices, language and customs while in Egypt. Had full integration been required in Jesus's time, there would have been no 'gentiles' for the Apostles to preach to; they would have been assimilated into the Jewish society. Etc etc.
I was not speaking of the Israelis while in exile, but those who wished to live among the Israelis. Those gentiles of whom you speak of in Jesus' time did not live with the Israelis, but within their own communities. Like Samaria, which Jesus chose to travel through rather than around as would have been the normal route, even though at another time He instructed His disciples, "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans."

Jesus has instructed you to go out into all the world and preach the gospel. You were not able to so he has instead brought the world to your doorstep. How will you respond now?

Go be a lamp instead of trying to put others lamps out with saying what you fancy is a smart retort. I speak more than one language. You? (not really asking cause I do not care)

I speak three languages and don't stay anywhere near America. I was not trying to be cocky but was giving a genuine response. Apologies if I have somehow offended you.

I think that Biden and the Democrats in Congress are forging plans for the millions of illegal/undocumented aliens. Their current plan is to allow these immigrants to move in with American families who own or rent their homes. Each American household would be held responsible for the care of at least one immigrant and, depending on their wealth, maybe a family of immigrants.....food/clothing/shelter.

The advantage of this plan is that it would shift the cost of the government's immigration policy off from the government to the citizens of the country. This would save the govt many $billions$ for which they could use to line their own pockets in the future.

For those of us who will have to house and care for the immigrants, let's hope we don't end up with gang or cartel members living in our homes.

Of course, just joking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I speak several languages, and my response was not meant as 'a smart retort'. Its how I see things. When Europeans first came to N.America, they couldn't speak the local language of those they met. They were not marginalized because of it. And, I guess I was just voicing my frustration with the lack of loving tolerance I see/feel frequently in this forum. We are all equal in God's embrace and I expected to see more of that here. I apologize if my opinion caused you to feel attacked.

No, this has nothing to do with Jesus. This has to do with a gov't that wants to rebuild a country in their own image so they allow illegals to flood the border. Now there will be scarcity and where do people turn when that happens? To the gov't. No, this is not something God sent. And btw, America has more people on the mission fields than any other nation.

That there, is a conflicting argument. We have laws for a reason. People don't want the 10 commandments, so we have 1,000s and 1,000s of laws instead. All broken.

We are all equal in God's embrace and I expected to see more of that here.
No we are not. Have you read the OT? God does not embrace sin for one thing, so those flowery words have no weight to them.

I apologize if my opinion caused you to feel attacked.
Attacked? You mean triggered perhaps? This country is what is being attacked from within and from without. As for myself, I am saddened with seeing 2 once great countries going down the drain.

Sounds quite a bit more than somewhat horrifying :censored::cry:
Residential electrical work is done by the least qualified in most instances because it has the lowest pay for electrical work.

Commercial and industrial pay twice the amount of Residential electricians. An instrumentation tech (a type of industrial electrician) gets the most pay and benefits. You really have to be nice to get one on a job site to begin with...it's their marketplace for when and where they will show up because the demand is so high and the number of instrumentation techs so low.

With that being said....

Inspectors have to thoroughly inspect Residential homes...almost none pass. I've been through a ton of inspections on a commercial level where they flung the passing tag at me where they just drove by and didn't bother getting out of their car...because they knew who I was and what I normally did. I might get an email about grounding pigtails later....(Don't worry if you don't understand that last line)

But Residential electricians are the guys who have a 6-pack lunch, never bother with drug screening jobs, tossed from every electrical contractor, or can't speak English. It's one of the four usually. The latter being the best among them.

Skilled trades pay more than most office jobs...but you do have to learn to do it. Which keeps most people out the field

Christianity is about love. I may question before they enter the door but once they are inside and I have determined they are facing a desparate need of knowledge of God and his love and sacrifice for them, would it be right for me not to address this if God has given adequate opportunity for me to help? "I was hungry but you did not feed me", (feed with the bread of the word). There may be various reasons why they are there, but before they get caught and returned to their country of origin, it's a good thing to try introduce a few of them to Jesus. I'm not where you are so if you suspect they will try rob you once they get to know you then I cant argue with that. But still try look for opportunities to spread the word in ways that you would remain safe if you can. Just my thoughts.
