She's General Johnson (I think I spelled it right.) We aren't 'Buds', or anything.

I just might be watching. And, I am sure you'll do fine. (Is this what you're going to need the $ for?)

I'll search for her at practice
I suck at drill I was first put as an alternate (hangs head in shame) and I was just recently put on unarmed reg. And unarmed exhibition

Nope, I need money for another thing (that's completely separate)
I would need money for the competition out of state this year but I said I couldn't go to that because I don't have enough money so I'm just not going to that one

What are your major sources for news on a day to day basis?

Just curious to see how the forum responds. Links are encouraged.
I'm not a one-source kinda gal. I don't even go out of my way to hear or read the news because it's got so little to do with journalism anymore. (I want news, not opinion.)

So, if I hear or read something and it peaks my interest, I'll google it. Then I'll look at which site has the news. I prefer AP or Reuters, but if I can't find them easily, I'll take some known source. (Washington Post, NY Times, even Yahoo, if I've got to.) Then I'll read it, to see if it's more article or more opinion. (Sources cited in last parenthesis are more opinion.) And then highlight keywords to google again to see if I can find the opposite end of opinion making. (FOX, Wall Street Journal, Right-Winged News.) And somewhere in all that bias, I strive for actual facts over opinion.

The little old lady down the road a piece. Nothing slips by her. If you need to get a message to the community, just tell her. She's faster than Twitter.
If I was little, I'd have to ask if we were neighbors. lol

Are you willing to make a $100 bet on that with me? I can quickly show you absolute proof that was just Trump's weird way of expressing people who he thinks have been wrong.
I wouldn't mind having access to it again. Got lost in the FB feed, and it's come up again.

The Drudge Report sometimes. Sometimes I will just Google (or another search engine) an important point of interest and go from there looking for news (such as the current state of the war). On Facebook I have a variety of different mainstream and non-mainstream news sources (from many points on the political spectrum) that I look at. Just got a Twitter account a couple days ago, that thing is cool, it'll come in handy.

As for forming a worldview piece-by-piece as a truth seeker I had to take all of the memories of the weird stuff in my life and go from there using logic (yes, my life has been THAT weird) to form a larger picture. Still working on that, but the news from many sources definitely helps.

I read a lot...

Yes. I can. When hubby was heavily sedate for quite some time, his nurses would put CNN on "for him." I kept telling then he'd hate that and change it to FOX. (We don't have cable, so it was a thrill to see FOX News. Every leftist I know keeps telling me I get my news from them, so I finally got to see what they're talking about. lol) After four weeks, every time I came in, they had the TV on a sports channel. Hmmmm.

But he remembers some bizarre dreams he had during that time, and I've since had to translate them into what was going on according to news channels from then. some how, he got a gist here and there, but his mind took off with it in dreams.

The thing that bothers me the most of all things he doesn't remember. The Eagles whipped the Patriots. The Patriots! and during a football season where we only won about four games. THIS he doesn't remember. I told him like ten times. It was also on, since I was there that day and his nurse was an Eagles fan too. Most important news, and he missed it. lol

That's not possible, give a $100.00 to a good charity,I saw what I saw.I'm not easily hypnotized with deceptive words when I have seen the truth.

BTW,he may express things selfishly and disrespectfully but he never puts himself down that way, does he?
That makes him willfully guilty.

Do you want to double that bet that you are frightened to touch? There is even video of him making fun of himself that same way.

Suddenly feel your feet going cold?

I watch a variety of news networks both local, national, and overseas. I’m actually somewhat of a news junky. Honestly though, nothing beats a connection with a live streaming broadcaster on the ground. Thanks to all the live streaming apps, you can almost always find someone streaming at or near the site. This allows for a much more exciting news experience IMO.

Exciting, for sure............. But as is being proven almost every day lately, not necessarily "accurate."

Hard to disagree with what I saw with my own two eyes,Donald Trump making movements with his body to describe a handicapped reporter.

Well, I can edit things together to prove anything... so what we see often needs to be re-examined.
And I'll stand by that statement.
Regardless of what actually did, or did not, happen in this incident... what we see on video often needs to be re-examined.

Seed_time_harvest,
It's your turn to tell us where you get your news... so we can pick on you.
