maybe kaine won over some trump supporters...they seem to gravitate towards obnoxious failures...
in all seriousness though...although the debate is unlikely to be remembered for having any major effect overall...pence's failures to answer kaine's charges against trump during the debate may have helped clinton in some of the new swing states... a new poll shows clinton leading in arizona...where a lot of hispanic voters probably care a whole lot more about 'that mexican thing' than pence did...another new poll shows a tie in arizona... trump's lead has also dropped in indiana according to still another new poll...obama won indiana in 2008 but not 2012...
another possible side effect of the debate that some new polls may be showing is that republican senate candidates seem to be doing a little bit better...maybe pence reminded some people that there are other republicans in the world besides trump...
