I've never believed Trump is a saviour, but he may well be one of the good guys. I haven't given up hope just yet. At the same time... he may well turn out to be one of the bad guys posing as one of the good guys saving us from Communism, but later bringing in the mark of the Beast. I guess we'll see, huh?

Numerous people showed up with various firearms and other weapons. There were even pipe bombs found. One guy, who lives about 10 miles from me, was arrested with a rifle, two pistols and various other items........Not sure "protest" is the proper definition.

It was an "attack" on Congress in an attempt to seize control of the building. Far too many people were injured....protesters and police alike, for it to be a simple "protest."

It was an extreem violation of Federal Law. That is just the plain truth.

If the OP was sarcasm, then that is fine, but in no way can this incident be passed of as a "non-event."

Yes, the far Left idiots have done, and continue to do far worse, but that does not excuse what happened on Janurary 6th...........

It's starting to look like it was set up by the FBI. And yeah, the people that followed along with it did a stupid and ignorant thing.

They do deserve some time. But looks like the FBI should possibly be found culpable as well.

I mean, if they had a part in setting this up or encouraging it, then isn't what they did entrapment?

So, there should be an investigation into FBI involvement. If it is found that agents provoked this in anyway then they should clean house at the FBI because if they had any part in this then they put many lives in danger in a crowd that they didn't even have enough police presence to stop or control in the least.

If the rioters had really been as dangerous as they are trying to make them out to be, then a whole lot of people would have or could have died.

So, the Feds. need to be held accountable if they are ever truly investigated and found to have set this up or encouraged it in any way.

Who cares about the rule of law now? Around 700 people have been found to be involved in the 6th. How many found for the SofL that was the most expensive riot in the history of the country?! No, no, the 6th was the same as 911, they were "terrorists". These people are being held in jail without due process. They are being abused, their rights have been taken from them before they have been proved guilty of anything. This cannot happen in America. If they are guilty of an actual crime then charge them accordingly and move on. That is not what is happening here. They are looking to take down anyone who even attended the rally. One guy said he was hit and has lose his eyesight, this is not North Korea. The two people killed were protesters. This was not an insurrection!! If the SofL was a peaceful protest, with all the destruction it did, where people were murdered in the street, cops were beaten, had batteries thrown at them and frozen water bottles, billions of dollars of damage and taking over 6 city blocks that resulted in the death of a young man, then the 6th was a walk in the park compared to that. smh

I was on vacation headed to FL and we were going to stop in AL for the night. We were told that there would be nothing open for miles around because Trump was in town. We did find a little out of the way place on the corner of town. We went in to pay and the owner was wearing a Trump shirt. The gas stop in front of the motel had tables set up with Trump merch they were selling. They had over 60 thousand people show up that night. Don't had me the crap that 3% Biden and 2% Kammy won this election, if Trump came and told me face to face I wouldn't believe it. Didn't happen.

If the SofL was a peaceful protest, so was the 6 th. Far less damage done. Only two people killed, who were the protesters. " When David Dorn's killer is found, then we can look into the 6th. But my version of the Bible doesn't have what you have here, instead Jesus tells Peter to "get behind me Satan" and in another place he says "there is none good but God".
