There are recordings??? I didn't get to hear the recordings :( I can tell you that the fact that she safely landed a twin with an engine out is a miracle even with verbal guidance from another pilot. When an engine goes out on a twin, its like trying to drive with two flat tires on the same side.

Yep :) They had recordings from her transmissions with the tower on one of the networks, Gabe, and of the other guy guiding her in. She was so calm, even funny at one point. :)

See! You guys. Age doesn’t make us incapable. I will be 87 in May. I bake my own bread, sew my clothes, paint in oil, paint on silk with Dupont dye and spend any time I feel my age so I need to just sit studying scripture and the history of the Christian church after Christ was resurrected.

The advantage of age is that we have been there, done that!

That was interesting. The fact that she landed with one engine out is newsworthy itself. Doing it with no previous experience in a twin is really amazing!
